This event is being organized at Shri Ambika Mata Temple in Bansi area, the nine-day Mahayagya and Ram Katha is being organized by the committee of the temple. The Education Department has also put teachers of government schools on duty in the Mahayagya and Ram Katha programs organized in the temple.

Duty imposed on these 5 teachers

Now, instead of teaching children in schools, five teachers from four government schools will have to cooperate in the arrangements for Ram Katha till February 7. In this program, the duty of senior teacher Amit Vijayvargiya, teacher Bhagwati Prasad Sharma, physical teacher Mahavir Kumar Jain, assistant teacher Shyam Sundar Sharma and teacher Pankaj Kumar Sharma has been assigned.

For this, a formal order has been issued by the Block Education Officer, in which the heads of schools have been asked to relieve teachers by 7th February. The Congress Party has raised questions on this order of the Education Department.

State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara has said that the government schools of Rajasthan are already facing the shortage of 1.5 lakh teachers, hence it is completely wrong to put them on duty in religious programs. This will affect children’s education. On the other hand, there will also be attempts to polarize on religious basis.

The Rajasthan government has termed Congress’s objection as completely false and has, on the contrary, put it in the dock. Rajasthan Government Cabinet Minister Kanhaiyalal Choudhary says that it is not at all wrong to put teachers on duty in religious events held in the temple and in Ram Katha.

Councilor Ashish Sharma also suffered injuries on other parts of his body. After the incident, local people took him to the hospital where he was operated on.

No action was taken even after the issue was raised in the council

Councilor Ashish Sharma said that complaint about menace of stray animals has already been made to the Municipal Council, but no strict action was taken. There is always a fear of accidents. Politics has intensified over the demolition of the statue of former Raja Rao Surajmal in Bundi, Rajasthan. Former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas called this incident illegal and an attack on the pride of Rajasthan. He said that people’s sentiments have been hurt due to the policies of the BJP government and this step is against the respect of history.

Khachariyawas said that the state government does not have the right to remove or demolish any 100-year-old historical statue without legal process and consent. He alleged that the BJP government removed the statue of Rao Surajmal as part of a “well-planned conspiracy”.

He said that Rao Surajmal has been a symbol of bravery and self-respect in the history of Rajasthan. To protect the country and religion, he fought many wars and brought glory to entire Rajasthan from Bundi. The former minister said that respecting the sentiments of the people, the statue of Rao Surajmal should be reinstalled at the same old place. He warned that if this did not happen, the BJP government would have to face public anger.

Khachariyawas said that the people of Rajasthan respect Rao Surajmal. If the government does not restore the statue at its old place, its political impact will be directly on the BJP.

Demand for assurance from Om Birla and CM Bhajanlal

He appealed to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to publicly assure that the statue will be returned to its original place. He also raised questions on the police action and said that after the demolition of the statue, an attempt was made to scare people by lathi charge, which is absolutely unacceptable.

Khachariyawas said, “First they broke the statue and then lathicharged the protesting people. This does not suit any democratic government.” After this incident, the atmosphere in Bundi and surrounding areas is heated.
