Tanzania Bus Accident: 38 people were killed and 28 others were seriously injured in a horrific road accident on Saturday (28 June 2025) in Sabasaba area of ​​Kilimanjaro area of ​​Tanzania, and 28 others were seriously injured. The accident occurred when the tire of a bus was punctured and lost balance, causing a strong collision with a minibus coming from the front.

Both vehicles caught fire, due to which the passengers inside did not get a chance to get out. The President’s Office confirmed the incident on Sunday and said that 36 bodies have not been identified due to the seriousness of burning.

According to local media reports, most of the passengers in the crashed bus were going to attend a wedding ceremony. For this reason, more people were riding in the bus. After the accident, there was chaos at the scene and the rescue team was immediately called. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals, out of which the condition of six is ​​said to be critical. It is believed that most of the deceased are citizens of Tanzania.
