In this series, Chinese electric car manufacturer BYD has introduced its new small electric car BYD Racco in the Japanese market. This car has been specially designed keeping in mind those customers who want to buy a small and comfortable electric car at a low price.

BYD Racco has been designed for the small car segment of Japan i.e. Kei Car market. There is a lot of demand for small cars in Japan because the roads there are narrow at many places and people prefer cars that can move easily in small spaces. Keeping this need in mind, BYD has prepared Racco with a compact design. The price of this car will be 20 lakh yen after subsidy.

• The small car market in Japan has been in the control of domestic companies for a long time. Suzuki Motor Corporation, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
