Tariq Rahman government will be formed in Bangladesh on Tuesday (17 February). The newly elected MP and the new cabinet will take oath tomorrow. This swearing-in ceremony will be held in Sansad Bhavan (Jatiya Sansad Bhawan). The MPs will be sworn in at 10 am inside the Parliament House, while the swearing-in ceremony of the Cabinet will take place at the South Plaza at 4 pm.

Deviating from tradition, this time for the first time the cabinet will be sworn in in Parliament instead of Banga Bhavan. This decision has been taken on the request of BNP. Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin will administer the oath to the MPs. After taking the oath, the MPs will elect their parliamentary leader there itself. Under the Constitution, it is mandatory for MPs to take oath within three days of the publication of the Gazette.

How many seats did Jamaat-e-Islami win?
The Election Commission issued gazette notifications for 297 out of 299 seats of the 13th parliamentary elections held on Saturday (February 12). BNP won the majority in the elections by winning 209 seats, while Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is going to become the main opposition party with 68 seats. Other parties and independent candidates won the remaining seats.

President Mohammad Shahabuddin will administer the oath
After the swearing-in, there will be a parliamentary board meeting of BNP, in which the parliamentary leader will be elected. After this, the President will be requested to appoint the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister will form the cabinet. President Mohammad Shahabuddin will administer the oath to the cabinet, while newly appointed Cabinet Secretary M Siraj Miyan will conduct the ceremony. Preparations are being made by the Parliament Secretariat. BNP is going to take power from the interim administration (Chief Advisor Prof. Muhammad Yunus). BNP President Tariq Rehman is likely to become the Prime Minister. The party leadership is finalizing the cabinet list. Speculation continues regarding the posts of Minister, Minister of State and Deputy Minister.

Who will become ministers?
According to sources, the cabinet may have representation from across the country and various religious communities, while many senior leaders may be kept out. The names being discussed for the ministerial post include: Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dr. Khandakar Mosharraf Hussain, Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Aamir Khasru Mahmood Choudhary, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Salima Rehman, Salahuddin Ahmed, Dr. AZM Zahid Hussain, Abdul Awal Mintu, Dr. Reza Kibria and Shama Obaid Islam. Humayun Kabir’s name is also being considered from the technocrat quota.

The names being discussed among the alliance partners include Jonaid Saki of Ganasamhati Andolan, Andalib Rahman Partho of Bangladesh Jatiya Party and Nurul Haq Noor of Bangladesh Gana Adhikar Parishad.

A cabinet meeting was held in Bihar on Tuesday (January 13) under the chairmanship of CM Nitish Kumar. In Bihar, senior MLAs, ministers, Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Legislative Council Chairman and Deputy Chairman will now be able to have two government bungalows each. This decision has been approved in the cabinet.

According to the information, apart from the Legislative Pool, senior MLAs will also be allotted bungalows from the Central Pool. Apart from the Central Pool, the Minister, Assembly Speaker/Deputy Speaker, Legislative Council Chairman and Deputy Chairman will also get bungalows from the Legislative Pool. For the second bungalow, you will have to pay rent of Rs 1700 per month, which is very cheap. The government’s argument is that there are many ministers who are also MLAs and the use of MLA residence is necessary for activities related to their assembly constituency.

Now Nitish is dancing in the hands of prostitutes- Ejya Yadav

According to the information, till now it was mandatory to vacate the MLA’s residence after becoming a minister. At the same time, this decision is being considered to please those senior MLAs who did not become ministers. The opposition is raising questions on this decision. RJD spokesperson Ejya Yadav raised questions on this decision and said that Nitish was once a professor of social engineering, but now he is dancing in the hands of jugglers. BJP is getting the Chief Minister to do whatever it wants. Nitish does the document which BJP asks him to sign. They have become just rubber stamps.

Rewari is being distributed among ruling party leaders – Asit Nath

Congress spokesperson Asit Nath Tiwari said that there are three and a half lakh houses which have rent. Only Rs 1700 per month is being given to the leaders. This is Nitish’s socialism. Instead of giving houses to the poor, houses of ruling party leaders are being distributed.

Rent will be charged for all the bungalows – Kuntal Krishna

BJP spokesperson Kuntal Krishna giving a round answer said that there are many such honorable people who have become MLAs many times. He is a former minister and a member of committees. Such an honorable person needs bigger spaces for his practical reasons. They are also being given a separate bungalow, but rent will be charged. The decision is for the public interest.

Let us tell you that the controversy regarding government bungalows in Bihar is not a new thing. From time to time, there has been political turmoil regarding allotment of houses to ministers, MLAs and former ministers.

Listen good news! If you are looking for school for your child or you are worried about good studies, then take a sigh of relief. The cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the opening of 57 new Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) across the country. These schools will not only provide quality education, but the dreams of millions of children will also get new wings. For this, a budget of Rs 5862 crore has been announced, which will be spent in the next 9 years.

What will be spent on what things?

2585 crore will be spent on building and infrastructure. This means that all things will be made modern classrooms, labs and playgrounds. Apart from this, 3277 crore rupees will be spent on the salary of teachers to books etc. These schools will be ‘Adarsh Vidyalayas’ according to NEP 2020. Apart from this, Balawatika (for 3-6 year old children) will be included for the first time. In these, learning in sports and games will be all will be increased creativity etc.

Where will these schools open?

It is worth noting that the demand of Kendriya Vidyalayas is in full swing. At present, 1288 schools are running in the country, in which 13.62 lakh children study. In December 2024, 85 new approved were approved and now 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas have been approved.

20 schools: In the districts where there was never a Kendriya Vidyalaya.

14 Schools: In aspiring districts, where the speed of development is slow.

4 Schools: In Naxalite affected areas.

5 Schools: In North-East and Hill areas.

In total, these 57 schools will be opened in 17 states and central ruled regions. Let us know that this scheme running since 1962 was started for central employees, army and paramilitary children, but now every child is getting benefit.

How much will be the benefit?

Seats for students: Every school will have 1520 seats, from which a total of 86,640 children will be able to study.

Jobs explosion: 4617 permanent posts from 57 schools will be of teachers and staff. Apart from this, thousands of people will get employment to build schools.

Results remain fantastic: The CBSE score is always excellent in Kendriya Vidyalayas. Apart from this, there are also modern teaching and facilities. This is the reason that 913 schools have already got the tag of PM Shri.

Why is this decision being considered a game changer?

This is a step to strengthen NEP 2020. These schools will also have multi-language, vocational skills, holistic growth etc. Actually, after Kovid epidemic has increased the focus on education and this step will progress in this direction.
