This therapy was approved by India’s drug controller in October 2023. At the same time, the results of its clinical trial have recently been published in the prestigious medical journal like Lancet Hematology. According to these results, this therapy showed positive effects in 73% of patients.

In some cases this therapy has managed to completely eliminate cancer. Car-t cell therapy has less side effects than traditional chemotherapy and radiation therapy. However, some patients have seen side effects such as anemia, thrombocytopenia (lower platelets), neutropenia (low white blood cells) and fabral neutropenia.
