What will you get under scholarship?

Australia Awards Scholarships are considered competitive and prestigious, for which a large number of students apply. Under this, tuition fees will be waived, because the government itself is bearing the entire cost of education. The student will also get a round trip air ticket. Under the scholarship, the student will be given a lump sum amount for accommodation, books and study materials. Besides, the overseas student health cover of the student during his studies will also be covered by the scholarship. Stipend will also be given for daily expenses.

What are the necessary conditions to get scholarship?

This scholarship is available only to those countries which are part of the award. Let us tell you, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has released the list of these countries. To receive the scholarship, the student must demonstrate leadership qualities and commitment to his or her community. They will also have to prove that they will be able to make a significant contribution to their study community.

The candidate has to show leadership abilities, responsibility towards society and willingness to contribute to the development of his/her country. Apart from this, the selected students are also required to return to their country for at least two years after completion of their studies. Its purpose is that the student’s country can also benefit from the skills he has learned during the course.
