The explosion that took place in the country’s capital Delhi at around 7 pm on Monday (10 November) shook the entire city. 12 people died in this blast and initial investigation revealed that Dr. Omar, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, was the mastermind of this attack. According to the investigating agencies, he was preparing for this incident for a long time. After the incident, agencies have continuously raided and intensified action. It was also revealed that his group was planning this attack for the last two years. The police also took action against Umar’s family and detained his brother and mother.

What did Umar’s mother say during the investigation?

During investigation, Umar’s mother told that she already knew that her son had indulged in radical ideas. There was no contact with him for many days. Shortly before the blast, Omar had asked his family not to call him. However, the police was not informed about these suspicious activities of Umar by the family earlier.

Umar was a resident of Pulwama

The name of Umar, a resident of Pulwama, had come up in the investigation in the Delhi blasts. Investigating agencies also confirmed that Umar also died in the blast. Umar, a doctor by profession, was associated with a module of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Even before the blast, the police had arrested several members of Omar’s gang, from whose possession 2900 kg of explosives were recovered.

Zabiullah Mujahid told in a press conference in Kabul that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 were injured in the clash between Afghan security forces and Pakistani army last night (October 11). According to Afghan officials, about 20 of their members were also martyred or injured. Afghan forces also captured many weapons in this operation.

Mujahid seriously accused the Pakistani army and government of training ISKP (Islamic State-Khorasan Province) terrorists and giving them shelter in their country. He said that these terrorists are sent to Afghanistan after receiving training directly from the airports of Karachi and Islamabad. He also claimed that the terrorist attacks in Tehran and Moscow were also planned from these centers in Pakistan.

Mujahid has appealed to Pakistan that the key ISKP leaders and members who are hiding there should either be handed over to the Afghan authorities or deported from Pakistani soil. He warned that if this is not done, it could lead to serious and unexpected consequences. The Defense Ministry has also clearly said that if any party violates Afghanistan’s border again, the Afghan Armed Forces will protect the border with full preparation and will give a strong response.
