The Central Board of Secondary Education has given big relief to the students of Class 12 Board Exam 2026. The board has once again extended the last date for taking the scanned copy of the evaluated answer sheet to 25 May 2026 at 12 midnight. This decision was taken after continuous complaints related to portal and payment. CBSE had earlier fixed the last date of application as May 22, after which students started facing problems in the website and payment system. As complaints increased, the board has decided to continue the application facility till 12 midnight first on 23rd May, then on 24th May and now on 25th May.

Many students and parents said that while applying for the scanned copy, the portal was getting closed repeatedly. The payment of some students was deducted but the application could not be completed. For this reason CBSE had to extend the date.

Revaluation process will start soon

CBSE has made it clear that after providing the scanned copy, the date of revaluation and answer sheet checking process will be released separately. The board has advised the students to apply within the stipulated time.

Education Minister asked for complete report

Taking the technical glitches seriously, Dharmendra Pradhan has asked for a detailed report from CBSE. He has sought answers regarding server shutdown, payment failure and operational problems. The Education Ministry said that a team of experts from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will investigate the portal and revaluation system, so that students do not face any kind of problem in future.

Government banks will also help

To strengthen the payment system of CBSE, State Bank of India, Bank of India, Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Bank have also been added. These will help in improving the bank portal and payment system.

How to apply for scan copy

• First of all go to the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in⁠.
• Open the “Pariksha Sangam” option visible on the homepage.
• Select “Schools / Ganga / Saraswati” link and go to Class 12 Post Result Services section.
• Open the scanned copy application link.
• Click on the link “Obtaining Scanned Copy of Evaluated Answer Book”.
• Fill the required information correctly.
• Pay the prescribed fee through online mode.
• After form submission, download the confirmation page and payment receipt and keep it safe.
