CBSE Board 12th Result: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to declare the result of 12th board exam 2026 soon. This result is very important for the students because it decides the path of their further studies and career. Recently an update has come on DigiLocker portal, in which Coming Soon is visible. This means that the process of releasing CBSE results has started. If we look at the trend of results of previous years, then it can be estimated that the result may come on 12 or 13 May 2026. However, the board has not yet released any official date or time for it.

Checking Result through UMANG App

1. It is very easy to see the result on UMANG app also. Download and install UMANG app from App Store or Play Store.

2. Go to the Services section and click on CBSE.

3. Login with OTP or MPIN through your registered mobile number.

4. Enter your registration number and other necessary details.

5. After submission, CBSE 12th result will appear on the screen.

What to do if a student fails?

According to CBSE rules, to pass the 12th board exam, a student is required to score at least 33 percent marks in both theory and practical. If a student fails in any subject, there is no need to panic. The board has given options for this. In which students can give compartment exam to pass the failed subjects. This examination is usually held in July after the results are declared. If the student has passed but is not happy with his marks, then he can increase his marks by giving improvement exam.
