CCS meeting for the second time

This is the second meeting of CCS after the Pahalgam terror attack. Earlier, there was a meeting on 23 April 2025, in which Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, S, Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary and many other officials attended. After this meeting, India had taken several major decisions against Pakistan, which included decisions like suspending the Indus Water Treaty and sending Pakistanis out of India. The CCPA meeting is also considered important and this has happened after many years. It reviews political and economic matters and decides on them. Pakistani Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said on Wednesday that Islamabad has no connection with the terrorist attack on tourists near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing concern over the loss of life and property in the attack, but refrained from calling it a terrorist act or condemning it.

Calling National Security Committee meeting

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made a big statement on Wednesday, a day after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He said that this attack will be given a befitting reply and India will take action soon. Speaking at the ‘Arjan Singh Memorial Lecture’ program in Delhi, Rajnath Singh said that India will take every necessary step and those who are behind this attack will be caught soon. During the program, he paid tribute to those killed in the attack and also kept a two -minute silence in his honor.
