French President Macron’s initiative rejected
When he was questioned by French President Emmanuel Macron to recognize Palestine as an independent country, Trump said that this decision has no significant importance. However, he described Macron as ‘a good person’.

American Middle-East peace efforts break
A day before Trump’s statement, his middle-east peace envoy Steve Vitkoff said that after Hamas’s new proposal, the US has called back its negotiator team and now the team will be consulted again.

Amid the ongoing struggle in the Middle East, Israel launched a big air attack on Syrian capital Damascus. The Syrian Ministry of Defense was targeted in this attack. Syrian army units active in South Syria were also attacked. Local people heard the sound of loud blasts and saw the smoke.

Meeting will be held in UNSC
