Adani airports holdings limited: Adani Airport, a subsidiary company and the largest private airport operator in India, Adani Airports Holdings Limited (AAHL) has said to raise a sum of $ 750 million on 3 June 2025.

Money will be used in this work

This fund will be used in payment of 400 million dollars loans taken earlier. With the remaining amount, the remaining amount will be done to upgrade the infrastructure of Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram Airports and to increase the scope of services like retail and food outlets. The company revealed this effort to raise funds in a regulatory filing. The company said that this money will not only increase the financial capacity of the company, but it will also improve the experience of the passengers.

AAHL CEO Arun Bansal said, “The trust of many big banks at the global level underlines India’s ability and long term value of Aviation Infrastructure of India. AAHL is on its own path to give customers the best experience in its airport network, take advantage of technology for uninterrupted operations and prioritize stability and community participation. ”

The responsibility of these airports was above Celeby

After the Turkish ground handling company Celibi Airport Services departs from India, Aahl Airport is trying to increase its scope of ground handling business and this announcement of raising funds from the company is in line with their strategy. Celebi Aviation used to manage ground services in nine airports in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Cochin, Hyderabad and Goa. However, the Government of India canceled the security clearance of the company after Turkey enthusiastically supported Turkey during ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Many new opportunities in front of Aahl

Here, according to the aviation policy, the airports of the country, which have more than one million annual passengers, need at least three ground handling service providers. While two are required at small airports. In this sequence, now Aahl wants to bid for ground handling contracts at the busiest airports in India and is also preparing to create a new company in this regard so that the maximum reach in the aviation sector can be increased.

India-turkey tension: Famous as a stronghold of terrorism, Pakistan has got open support from Turkey. Meanwhile, India has given a major blow to Turkey and canceled the security approval of Turkish airport’s ground handling company Selebi with immediate effect. This decision has been taken by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).

A government statement said, “Security approval in the case of Selebi Airport Services India Private Limited under the Ground Handling Agency Catgari was approved by the Director General of BCAS under letter number 15/99/2022-2022-BCAS/BCAS/E-191110 dated 21.11.2022.” The statement further stated, “The security approval regarding Celebi Airport Services India Private Limited is canceled with immediate effect, using the powers that the Director General of BCAS has received the powers.”

Boycott of Turkas

Under the Operation Sindoor launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India entered inside Pakistan and destroyed many terrorist bases. Furious Pakistan tried to target the common citizens of India and military base and airbase, in which the Turkas helped Pakistan. He supplied his drones. Since then, the demand for boycott of Turki in India started arising and it is constantly being boycotted.

Learn about Celebi Airport Service Company?

Actually, it is a Turki company that gives ground handling service in India. This company was offering services like baggage handling, ramp service and cargo handling at many main airports including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad. Boca has clearly stated that this step has been taken in view of the security of the country. After taking these steps from the government, CELEBI will no longer be able to serve at any airport in India.

Celebi aviation: After ‘Operation Sindoor’, there is resentment in the country about Turkey, standing in support of Pakistan amidst increasing tension with India. In many parts of India, the ‘Ban Turkey’ movement is also gaining momentum. However, India needs to step into blowing as Turkish joint venture company Celibi Aviation handles security at eight airports in India like Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. Also, it also works to manage 58,000 flights in India annually.

Big responsibility on Celeby Staff

The country’s largest airline company IndiGo has a Turkish airline with a Todasare Arrangement. Also, many other companies like Air India also have relations with Turkish Airline. Along with the security of the airports, Celibi Aviation also oversees cargo management to airside operations and ground work. Selibi Aviation’s staff works in the airside zone, which are considered to be the high-quality zone of the airports.

Celebi employees also handle cargo logistics and passenger baggage. These include goods coming from international flights. In such a situation, there may be a small lapse in security. Now you can understand how important the role of this Türkiye company is in the airports of the country. In view of the friendly relationship between Türkiye and Pakistan, India needs to be more vigilant.

Service is being given on these airports

Celebi Aviation from India’s aviation sector has been associated with 2008. According to its official website, it handles more than 58,000 flights and 5,40,000 tonnes of cargo every year. Its number of employees is 7,800.

Today, Celibi is offering its service at airports like Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, Kannur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, Ahmedabad and Chennai. These include passenger services, load control and flight operations, ramp services, general aviation services, cargo and postal services, warehouse services and bridge operations.

Celebi entered the Aviation sector of India with a joint venture at Mumbai International Airport. Here it was tasked to provide ground handling services. Gradually, it increased its scope, making its grip strong.
