In 2016, OpenAI President Greg Brockman tried to include him in his team but at that time he did not find it right to take an openAI job of $ 175,000, leaving Facebook’s $ 800,000 salary. However, in 2023, when the chatgpt went viral, Tulak joined OpenAI.

Thinking Machines Lab, which has been started by Murati and Tulak is “to make AI more understandable, customized and general usable”. Murati has said that she will present her first product in a few months. Meanwhile, Meta has created a Superintelligence Labs unit, which aims to create more intelligent AI than humans, while intensifying its AI race.

Meta has purchased 49% stake in Scale AI in $ 14.8 billion and has also acquired an AI voice startup called Play AI.
