Patiala House Court on Friday (October 3) sent Swami Chaitanyanand to judicial custody for 14 days. Delhi Police took him to Patiala House Court after the 5 -day police remand was over. Accused Baba’s lawyer has demanded food, medicines and monks to eat in judicial custody. The court will hear this petition on Saturday (October 4).

Police sought answers on Baba’s application

The lawyer of the accused Baba demanded a judge sign on the Caesar Memo and the case diary. The police has sought answers on the application of Caesar Memo. The court will hear this tomorrow.

Arrested from Agra on August 28

Delhi Police presented Baba before Judicial Magistrate Animesh Kumar. Baba has been accused of sexually assaulting 17 girl students in a private institute. Baba escaped after the matter came to light. 62 -year -old Baba was arrested by the police on September 28 from Agra in UP.

Used to send pornographic messages to girl students

Earlier, the police had seized Rs 8 crore deposited in many bank accounts and fixed deposits related to Baba. According to the FIR, Saraswati, former president of the institute in South-West Delhi, allegedly forced the girl students to come to their quarters late at night and message. He used to monitor the activities of the girl students through his phone.

Three women also arrested in this case

On Thursday (October 2), the police arrested three women in the same case. These women work in the same institution. Associate Dean Shweta Sharma, Executive Director Bhavna Kapil and Senior Faculty Member Kajal accepted the pressure on the girl students on the pretext of discipline and timely ban of Baba. The three are accused of provoking, threatening and destroying evidence for crime.

Swayambhu Baba Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati of Delhi is absconding since the allegations of sexual harassment. The police suspect that he is constantly changing his look (disguise) to avoid arrest and is also avoiding using a mobile or electronic device.

Chaitanyanand is alleged to have forced the students of Shri Sharda Indian Institute of Management (SIIMD) to go to their quarters at night at Vasant Kunj, Delhi.

Police said that a case has been registered at Vasant Kunj North police station. The lookout notice (LOC) has been issued against him and is trying to track his location through technical surveillance.

Police investigation has revealed that Swami Chaitanyanand not only exploited at least 17 girl students, but also took the property of the institute in its possession and rented the private companies and bought luxury vehicles with the amount received from it.

The investigation has also revealed that the accused Baba had an institute and hostel’s CCTV access on his mobile. He used to watch CCTV in the phone itself. Not only this, he also installed CCTV camera outside the bathroom.

According to the police, the talk of tampering with the DVR system has also come to light. According to the police, about 75 girls were living in the hostel. Currently the hostel is empty.

How used to make girls forced?

According to the FIR lodged against Swami Chaitanyanand, the complaint clearly states that Swami and some of his close people, especially the girls, threatened and exploited them physically and mentally. The girls were forced to go abroad with Swami.

According to sources, first a former student and group captain of Indian Air Force complained to the university administration by sending letters and emails. It was told in the complaint that Swami had been doing wrong acts with girls and women staff for a long time ..

More than 30 women students alleged that Swami used to harass them on messages and WhatsApp. A student told that Swamy called her as “baby” and made fun by making a video of her.
