Trading window has opened for IPL 2026

According to Cricbuj, the first trade window of IPL 2026 has started from 9 am, a week after the end of IPL 2025, i.e. June 10, 9 am and it will run till 5 pm a week before the IPL 2026 auction. Starting from the next day of the second trade window auction, it will remain open until a month before the season starts.

• Players purchased in the auction cannot be traded.
• Transfer of foreign player is possible only when no objection certificate (NOC) is found from his cricket board.
• Whichever player is being traded or the franchise for which he is playing, no separate payment can be made.
• It is the responsibility of the buying franchise to check whether the player who is being traded is fit or not. Also, she can also ask the player to get a medical examination before signing the necessary documents.
• There is no limit on the number of players being traded between the two windows, but it is necessary to follow the rules of salary cap and squad combination.
• A player can be traded only once after the IPL 2025 is over and before the IPL 2026 starts.
• If a player of Rs 15 crore is being traded, then the purse of the team buying will reduce Rs 15 crore. Whereas in the purse of the selling team, the same amount of money will increase.
• If a player wants many teams, the selling franchise can interact with other teams, but the final decision will be taken only by the consent of the player.
