In the capital Lucknow, a huge crowd was seen on the ghats on Chhath festival, women were seen standing in the water all night waiting to offer Arghya to the rising sun.

In Lucknow, children and elders alike were seen enthusiastic about Chhath festival, security arrangements were also made on this occasion.
