Five Naxalites were killed and a soldier was also martyred in an encounter in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. An encounter took place between security forces and Naxalites in Naxal-affected Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Police officials gave this information on Wednesday (December 3). He told that firing is going on between security forces and Naxalites in the forest of West Bastar Division in the district. He told that on receiving information about Naxalite activity in the forest of West Bastar Division, a joint team of District Reserve Guard, STF and Central Reserve Police Force was sent and after seeing this team, Naxalites started firing on it.
