The Times of India quoted the source as saying- “The complainant said that the pirated version of the film Chhawa released across India at 1,818 internet link Illegally Distributed. This violated copyright laws. This affected theatrical distribution. “

A case was registered under CR No. 23/2025 in CR No. 23/2025, Section 316 (2) and 308 (3) of the Indian Justice Code, Section 51, 63 and 65A of the Copyright Act, Section 6AA of the Cinematograph Act, 1952 (Amendment 2023) and Section 6A3 and 66 of the Information Technology Act. The investigation of the case is going ahead.

DCP Dutta Nalavade told Etimes, “The case has been registered and the investigation is on.”

Chhawa box office collection

Talking about Chhawa, the film has collected a gross collection of Rs 769.3 crore. At the same time, the film has collected 583.03 crores in India. The film earned 225.28 crores in the first week, 186.18 crores in the second week, 84.94 crores in the third week and Rs 43.98 crore in the fourth week. The film is being liked a lot of fans.
