Recently, the final result of the Civil Services Examination 2024 was released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). In this examination, 1,056 candidates from across the country have tasted success. The story of every successful candidate is becoming an inspiration for someone or the other. One such story is that of Chhaya Kumari, daughter of Garhwa district of Jharkhand, who made history by leaving behind poverty and struggle and made history by achieving 530th rank.

Born in Akalwani, a small village in Meral block of Garhwa, the journey of Chhaya Kumari was not easy. Financial crisis tried to bow him several times, but Chhaya never gave up. Despite limited resources and difficult conditions, he continued studies and today the head of the entire village has raised proudly. Six months ago, Chhaya had also passed the BPSC exam and now within six months, he has brought the second major success and has illuminated the name of his family and village.

Father’s dream is fulfilled

Chhaya’s father Sunil Dubey had tears of joy in his eyes when his daughter said on the phone, Papa, I have become an officer. He told that when my daughter got a gold medal in the university, then I said that my real happiness will be on the day when the world will recognize me by the name of my daughter, and today is the same day.

Daughter’s hard work is settled in mother’s love

Chhaya’s mother Seema Devi also expressed happiness over this achievement of the daughter and said that today the whole village is swinging happily. My daughter has made our dreams come true. Chhaya’s elder mother Asha Devi told how Chhaya continued to study under extremely difficult circumstances. Many times disappointment was felt, but he did not give up. Sister Kriti Kumari also told that Chhaya passed the UPSC exam in the fifth attempt. In earlier efforts, she used to be left behind by just a few points, but this time hard work showed color.
