Speaking at the Christmas program organized by the government at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad, he said, ‘If today people are celebrating Christmas in Telangana. So it is because of Sonia Gandhi’s important role and sacrifice.

He said that the month of December has special significance for Telangana. Sonia Gandhi’s birthday also falls in this month. The state was also formed in this month.

Kohli said, it can be understood that everyone in the Congress party wants to please the Nehru-Gandhi family. What is the reason why they are saying that you are celebrating Christmas? Why are Congress party leaders looking at Muslims or Christians from the perspective of vote bank?
