The BJP government in Delhi has started the work of opening the Arogya temple in the city. The objective of this scheme is that people should get necessary health services near the house according to better and need. These health centers will not only be treated for normal diseases, but will also be available here test, vaccination, delivery care and fitness facilities. What will be done in the Arogya temple?

People will get free investigation and screening facility in Arogya temple. These investigations include-

• Cancer screening; To detect five types of cancer
• Diabetes and high blood pressure investigation
• 14 types of regular tests, such as blood sugar, dengue, malaria and syphilis
• 8 types of blood tests
• 79 through other test outsourcing, so that the report can be found in just 30 minutes

Which health services will be available?

In Arogya temple, the necessary first medical health services will be provided to the patients. These include-

• Care, delivery facility will also be available for pregnant women.
• 12 different disease vaccines will be available for children
• 105 types of important medicines free
• Treatment of normal diseases, such as cold, cough, fever
• Yoga class twice a week, for health and fitness
• Family Planning Counseling

Arogya Mandir vs Mohalla Clinics

Earlier Mohalla Clinics were limited to only normal diseases and vaccination of children. It was started by the AAP government, where facilities were not available for many major diseases earlier. At the same time, a large number of health services will be available for people of all ages in Arogya temple.

Government’s purpose

The aim of Rekha Gupta government is that the people of the city reach better health services easily. In the first phase, 33 Arogya temples will be built and all services will be available from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
