US President Donald Trump has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India. This decision of Trump is being opposed in his own country. Former US National Security Advisor (NSA) Jack Sulivan has said that President Donald Trump has put more business pressure on India by applying 50 percent tariff. Sulivan believes that due to Trump’s policies, India is gradually leaning towards China.

Jack Sulivan said in a podcast, ‘When he talks to leaders of other countries, he says that America is no longer worth trusting. Many countries consider America to be the biggest problem, while China is coming forward like a responsible and reliable country. He said that earlier America’s image was strong, but now China’s popularity is growing rapidly and America’s credibility is becoming weak.

India is looking towards China in compulsion: Sulivan

Giving the example of India, Sulivan said, “The attempt to form a deep and permanent relationship with India was going on with the consent of both parties, but Trump made such a big business attack on India that now Indian leaders have to say that maybe we have to go to Beijing and sit with China, so that a balance can be made against America.”

50% tariff shocks Indian exports

The Trump administration has implemented a 50% tariff on India from 27 August. This is the highest tariff imposed on any country. It is believed that this will have a profound impact on India’s economy and employment. Trump said the reason for the additional 25% fee was said by India to buy oil from Russia. This heavy tax is expected to affect India’s clothes, jewelery and mechanical equipment industry the most.

Trump’s ‘resentment’ reason?

Meanwhile, a report by American investment bank Jefferies claimed that Trump’s personal resentment is the real reason for imposing tariffs on India. In fact, in May, Trump wanted to mediate the India Pakistan dispute, but India refused. Apart from this, the agricultural sector has also been described as a big issue of conflict between the two countries.

Despite the long -standing border disputes and political tensions between India and China, the two countries are making new efforts to carry forward their relations. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said during a visit to New Delhi that both countries should establish the right strategic partnership and should be considered as partners. This statement clarified that both Beijing and New Delhi are keen to stabilize bilateral relations and find new avenues of cooperation. Wang Yi told Dr. Jaishankar about the American tariff that the world is going towards rapid change. Referring to America, he said that one-sided is facing bullying. Apart from this, the world is facing free trade business and international challenges.

History is witness that India and China have seen difficult times. The clash of the Galwan Valley of June 2020 had brought relationships to the lowest level in decades, but in the present time the leadership ability of the two countries focus on the fact that tension is reduced and found opportunities for cooperation at regional and globally.

Importance of border peace and dialogue
Seema Shanti was a major issue in the meeting of Wang Yi and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Jaishankar clearly stated that the basis of any positive motion in India-China relations has the ability to maintain peace and harmony in the border areas. Wang Yi also admitted that dialogue and exchange at all levels are gradually being restored. It is an indication that the two countries now want to look towards the future, rather than only stuck on border disputes. In addition, the border talks between Ajit Doval and Wang Yi have raised hope that long -stuck negotiations can lead to progress.

Business and bilateral cooperation opportunities
During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed business and economic relations. China is one of the largest trading partners in India, but the business balance has long been tilted in favor of Beijing. Jaishankar also interacted on issues like river data sharing, border trade, contact and cultural exchange. Such steps will not only improve business relations but will also strengthen mutual trust. Wang Yi’s statement is also important that India and China can set examples for developing countries. This simply means that both countries can leave their differences behind and play a leading role for the global South.

SCO summit and future direction
Wang Yi’s visit took place a few days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to China. Modi will go to Beijing for the first time in seven years to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Both China and India are important members of the SCO and this platform gives both countries an opportunity to share their views on regional security, opposition terrorism and economic cooperation. In this context, Wang Yi’s visit and his conversation with Jaishankar is not limited to bilateral relations only, but it is also associated with the collective security and stability of Asia.

Wang Yi has come on a two -day visit to India on Monday. He will participate in a 24th round of special representatives on the border issue with National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval.

In this meeting, it was decided to restore various dialogue mechanisms between the two sides.

Under this, maintaining high level exchanges, increasing political beliefs, promoting practical cooperation, dealing properly and promoting stable development of China-India relations.

Mao Ning, while commenting on Wang Yi’s visit at a press conference, said that special representative level talks on India-China border issues are a high level medium for border talks between the two countries. He said that during the 23rd round of talks in Beijing, the two sides obtained many general consent on delimitation, dialogue, limit management mechanisms, border exchange and cooperation.

He said that since the beginning of the year, both sides have maintained dialogue through diplomatic mediums and have actively carried forward the implementation of those results. He said that China is ready to continue intensive dialogue with India on issues on related issues on the basis of existing consensus and positive and creative stance for the upcoming negotiations and to maintain peace in the border areas.

On the question of progress made in border talks and the possibilities of agreement by China, Mao said that special representative level talks are a constructive and positive mechanism for both sides on the limit issue. He said that many important agreements were created in the 23rd round of talks and both sides are implementing these agreements.

Dalai lama india china relationship: For the first time after Foreign Minister S Jaishankar’s much awaited China visit, which is happening for the first time after the Galwan clash (2020). China has reacted strongly to the successor of the Dalai Lama. China has termed this issue as a ‘fork’ in India-China relations. Earlier on Saturday, the Dalai Lama reached Leh Airport under very tight security.

China’s strict warning- ‘The issue related to Shijang for India’
The Chinese Embassy in Beijing issued a statement on Sunday saying that India should seriously understand the sensitivity associated with ‘Shijang’ (XIzang, Tibet). China said that the theme of Dalai Lama’s successor and rebirth is ‘completely internal matter’, in which there is no place for any external intervention. Chinese embassy spokesperson U Jing wrote on the social media platform x, ‘The issue related to Shijang is like a thorn in India-China relations and it is becoming a burden for India. Playing ‘Shijang Card’ will be a suicide step for India.

China objected to the comments of Indian experts
U Jing said that in recent times, Indian strategic affairs experts, former officials and academics have given ‘unfair statements’ about the successor of the Dalai Lama, which according to China does not match the public policy of the Government of India. He also claimed that the Tibetan people in Tibet have maintained their traditional culture, dress, catering and architecture with independence. He also shared some pictures.

– Yu jing (@chinaspox_india) July 13, 2025

What was said by India?
The Government of India has repeated a neutral attitude on this matter. Foreign Ministry (Mea) spokesman Randhir Jaiswal told the media on 4 July- ‘The Government of India does not take any official stance in matters related to religious beliefs and traditions nor comments. India has always supported religious freedom for all.

China provoked from Union Minister’s statement
One reason for China’s response is the statement of Union Minister Kiran Rijiju in which he attended the Dalai Lama’s birthday celebrations and said that as a Buddhist follower, he believes that the Dalai Lama and his office are entitled to decide on the successor.
China raised strong objections to this and called it an ‘anti -China separatist attitude’.

Dalai Lama’s statement and Chinese Anger
During his 90th birthday ceremony this month, the Dalai Lama clearly stated that his successor will be selected completely through the religious process and China should not have any role in it. This statement was further enraged by China. China wants the successor to get approval from its government.

Exile in India and the presence of Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama has been living in exile in India since 1959, when he revolted against China’s rule in Tibet. Indian strategic experts believe that the presence of the Dalai Lama is a diplomatic benefit for India. At present, there are about 70,000 Tibetan refugees and Tibetan exile governments in India, which operate from Dharamshala.

China deceives india apple iPhone: Fraudcore China neither quarreled with India nor changed the name of any city or village nor did any bullying on the border. Despite this, he will have to pay the price of his 300 employees by recalling his 300 employees from India, not only India but the whole world. India will have to bear the most brunt of this. Not only India but also America has suffered a major setback when these 300 Chinese employees return to China.

Foxconn was setting up a big plant in 300 acres in Bengaluru

The name of the largest phone manufacturer for Apple making iPhone is Foxconn. Foxconn is setting up a large plant in Devashali in Bangalore, the city of India, so that the iPhone’s upcoming series iPhone 17 can be made in India only. Now this company is from China, then obviously most of the engineers in this company are also from China, so they also need a house to live around Devashali. Due to this, there has also been a terrible increase in the price of real estate around Devashanhali and its surroundings. Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil also wrote about this in one of his posts on X.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that most of the iPhones sold in America will be made in India and all this was almost certain. Foxconn plant was being built on about 300 acres. Around 30,000 people were being built nearby. The price of the property had increased by 30 to 35 percent. And by the end of 2025, everything was going to be prepared. But at the last moment, China has cheated that it seems that now everything will be ruined.

China recalled 300 Foxconn engineers

China has called back 300 engineers of Foxconn, a iPhone manufacturer for Apple within the last two months. These were the engineers who had to make the iPhone 17, the engineers of India had to do the technology transfer and the engineers of India also had to make them capable that they would make phones like iPhone in India by themselves. But at the last moment, Foxconn called his engineer withdrawn and now only supporting staff are left in this plant, who belong to Taiwan.

China did not give any reason to call engineers back

Neither the Chinese government has made any argument nor their company Foxconn said anything behind calling these engineers back. But it is certain that Foxconn could not do this work without the pressure of the Chinese government. The Chinese government neither wants its technology to reach India or any other South Asian country nor does it want such equipment to India. Therefore, before the production of iPhone 17 started, under the pressure of the Chinese government, Foxconn called the engineer back and gave a big blow.

IPhone construction process will be dull in India

Now the question is what is the future of iPhone in India. So the phone will be made in India, yes its process will slow down, because now there is no one to train the engineers of India. There is also apprehension that when the production slows down, the price of iPhone will also increase and this will affect not only India but also America and China wants this. Because Foxcon is the company of its country and also makes the same iPhone, now the world will have to depend on China for the iPhone and China will supply the iPhone on its terms so that there can be a better business deal than America.

America may cause big loss due to China’s decision

Behind this decision of China, US President Donald Trump could also be the threat that he had given to Apple CEO Tim Cook and said that he should stop production of iPhone in India and after this threat, Trump also made a deal with China, in which China lifted restrictions from rare meanings. It may also be that this may be a price of the deal between the US and China so that the Trump can put more pressure for the deal that is going to do with India in the future. There are many apprehensions, but expectations are more than that and it is expected that in the coming times, India will also have that technology, when that iPhone will not only assemble, but every part of that iPhone will be Made in India.

ALSO READ: Israel attacked fast, Hamas said on ceasefire- ‘Discussion with Palestinian groups’

China India News: India entered Pakistan under Operation Sindoor between 7 and 10 May and carried out attacks with drones, missiles and bombs. In the action taken by India, along with Pakistan’s weak air defense system, the failure of China’s weapons also came to the fore. In this struggle, China secretly supported Pakistan. Dragon not only supplied arms, but also supported Pakistan through satellite, radar and intelligence. However, China said that it did not help Pakistan.

We give importance to both countries- China

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said, “Both India and Pakistan are important neighbors of China. We give great importance to relations with both countries.” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that China’s attitude has been fair since the tension between India and Pakistan increased. China has called for restraint from both sides to remain calm and avoid moving further.

Mao Ning said, “We support and welcome the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. China is ready to play a creative role in protecting regional peace and stability.” Operation Sindoor proved that the Chinese weapons and fighters present with Pakistan could not show any significant impact in the time of serious crisis.

Due to supporting Pakistan, Turki is being boycotted in India. Not only the travel cancellation has increased, but every item to be imported from the Turkas, including apples and marble, is being boycotted. Turki companies doing their business in India are in bad shape at this time. In view of this, China is scared.

Made in India weapons over Chinese weapons

China was expensive to give defense support to Pakistan, as the world saw that Made in India weapons proved to be China’s weapon. China’s air defense radar in Lahore was severely damaged in the Indian attack. Chinese YLC-8E Anti-Stail radar posted in Chuniya Airbase of Punjab (Pakistan) was completely destroyed.

Drone and AR-1 laser guided missiles from China, which Pakistan fired on India, destroyed them in the sky itself. Pakistan had deployed China-made Achchue-9 air defense system to prevent Indian missiles and aircraft, but India easily blocked these systems and attacked inside Pakistan without interruption.

China held Pakistan responsible on social media

The failure of these systems was also discussed in China and many Chinese social media accounts blamed Pakistan’s low training and poor operation planning for this. Indian authorities recovered a piece of PL-15 missile in Hoshiarpur, which was found on the ground.
