US President Donald Trump indicated on Sunday (October 19, 2025) that his government may reconsider the tariff policy if China takes some positive steps in favor of America. This statement has come at a time when just a few days ago the Trump administration had announced to increase the duty on goods imported from China by 100 percent and implement software export control from November 1.

Trump told the media that relations between him and Chinese President Xi Jinping are better than normal. He said that differences exist between the two countries, but if Beijing does something good for America then reduction in tariffs is possible. According to Trump, this is no longer a one-way street. We will protect our interests but there is scope for agreement if China cooperates.

Tension rising again in trade war

After the peace of the last few months, the US-China trade war seems to be intensifying once again. Washington has recently tightened export controls on technology products and is preparing to impose additional duties on Chinese ships in US ports. In response, China has imposed strict rules on the export of rare earth minerals and other strategic materials.

Preparation for new negotiations and possible agreement

US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant has confirmed that representatives of the two countries will hold new trade talks in Malaysia this week. This meeting is being seen as an attempt to improve relations after Trump’s recent statements and the canceled meeting with Xi Jinping. Beijing has also indicated that it is ready for a new round of talks amid the tariff dispute.

WTO’s warning – threat to the global economy

World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has warned that the ongoing trade conflict between America and China could cause huge damage to the global economy. He said that if this tension continues, there could be a decline of about 7% in world production. According to him, the US-China trade tension is not only bilateral but will affect the entire world economy.

What is Trump’s strategy?

Experts believe that this policy of Trump is part of his “Deal Diplomacy”. They first take tough steps, then open the way for talks so that political and technical concessions can be achieved. The Trump administration’s tariff policy has also affected the US technology sector, especially the semiconductor and software industries, which consider China a major market.

US President Donald Trump has once again adopted a tough stance against China and announced the imposition of 100% additional tariff on all Chinese imports from November 1, 2025. Along with this, he has also announced to implement export control on important software made in America.

This move comes at a time when trade and geopolitical tensions are already heightened between the world’s two largest economies. Experts believe that if this policy is implemented, it can seriously affect the global markets.

Trump’s allegation – China is holding the global economy hostage

Trump made a scathing attack on China while posting on his social media platform Truth Social. He wrote that China has adopted an unusually aggressive stance in trade and this will affect all countries. Trump claimed that China is planning to impose export restrictions on most of its products, which is creating imbalance in the global market. In response, Trump said that now America will also take equally strict steps. He announced that from November 1 we will impose 100% additional tariffs on China. This will be in addition to their existing tariff.

What will be the effect of Trump’s tariffs?

Tariff means tax imposed on goods imported by a country. When the tariff on a foreign product is increased, its price also increases. This reduces the demand for foreign goods and gives domestic industries a competitive edge, but Trump’s move can also have negative effects. Consumer goods will be expensive in America. Prices may increase in sectors like electronics, automobile, mobile and electric vehicle (EV). Apart from this, the supply chain between America and China may also be affected.

Declaration of control on software export

Trump also announced that from November 1, the US will impose export controls on critical software. This means that the sale of artificial intelligence (AI), data security, military technology or industrial software to China will be limited. Experts say that this step can have a big impact on China’s tech companies, electric vehicle manufacturers and defense industry. This is also being considered a strategic step towards maintaining American technological edge.

What did experts say on the tariff?

Economic experts say that this policy of Trump is not only an economic but also a political strategy. Ahead of the 2025 elections, he is presenting himself as a staunch supporter of the America First policy. According to Dr. Alexander Mitchell, an expert at a Washington-based think tank, this is a sign of Trump’s new trade war strategy. Their objective is to save domestic industries and reduce dependence on China. However, he also warned that if China retaliates by imposing sanctions on American goods, it will affect the entire global economy.

Diplomatic tension and meeting canceled

This step of Trump has come at a time when he had planned to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping a few days ago, but now he has indicated to cancel this meeting. Trump said that when China increased controls on the export of rare earth elements, it held the entire global economy hostage. These rare metals play an important role in the manufacturing of electronics, EV batteries and defense equipment and China holds about 80% share in this market.

Business tension between the US and China has been in the news since 2018. The root of this dispute is associated with trade balance, technical transfer and industrial policies between the two countries. In April, US President Donald Trump increased the tariff on Chinese goods by 145%, in response to which China imposed a 125% duty on US imports. This became a situation in which the economy and global supply chains of both countries came under pressure. The two sides agreed to temporarily reduce tariffs after negotiations in Geneva and meetings in London in June. However, this relief proved to be short -lived, as the deadline for putting high tariffs again in August was approaching.

According to the Reuters report, an official of the White House confirmed that President Trump has extended the tariff’s deadline for 90 days by signing an executive order. This decision was taken by Trump a few hours after postponing the questions of journalists, in which he was asked if he would carry forward the deadline of August 12. Trump appreciated China’s cooperation on the occasion and said, “We will see what happens.” This indicates that the conversation between Washington and Beijing is still going on and both sides are looking for a permanent solution.

Current tariff rates and economic impact
Currently, 30% tariffs are applicable on imported goods from China, including 10% Aadhaar rate and 20% phynell-related additional tariffs. These tariffs were imposed by the US in February and March. On the other hand, China has reduced its rate on US imports to 10%. Economic analysts believe that tariff expansion will not only affect the GDP of the two countries, but will also increase uncertainty in global markets. Investors will adopt a cautious stance, while the cost of companies dependent on import-export may increase.

Potential future and global reaction
If there is no concrete agreement in the coming 90 days, then the tariff rates can again go to a higher level, which can lead to a huge decline in global trade. America’s leading business partners and international institutions such as WTOs can try mediation to end the dispute. Experts believe that this deadline expansion is a strategic break, which will give the two countries a chance to resolve issues through dialogue, but if the agreement is not reached then it can start the “Trade War 2.0”.

China reacts to donald trump’s tarifs: US President Donald Trump’s government has imposed a tariff of up to 245 percent on things coming from China. This information is given in a fact sheet issued by the White House. Due to this new tariff, business tension between the US and China has increased further.

China’s reaction has now come to light on this decision of Trump administration. According to the report of Reuters, China said on Thursday that if America continues the game of tariff, it will not pay attention to it.

Trump administration made a big announcement

The Trump administration has announced a new tariff up to 245% on goods coming from China, which has increased tension between the US and China. Regarding this, the White House released a fact sheet, which gave complete information about this decision.

It was told that more than 75 countries have agreed to talk about the new trade agreement with the US. Because of this, not much tariffs have been imposed on these countries at present. At the same time, China has taken retaliation, so the tariff will continue on it. Without giving more information in the fact sheet, it has been said that due to China’s retaliation, it is now facing up to 245% tariffs on goods sent to America.

These allegations made against China

The Fact Sheet of the White House has also alleged that China has stopped exports of Gallium, Germanium, Antimony and other important high-tech materials to the US, which may be used in army related work.

It was also told in the fact sheet that this week, China has also stopped the export of six rare heavy metals and rare earth magnets. The aim of this is that companies of trains around the world, aerospace industry, semiconductor companies and military suppliers should struggle with lack of essential things.

Baba venga’s predictions: Bulgarian prophet Baba Venga predicted the world’s economic situation in 2025. He had said that this year there can be a big economic disaster in the world. After Donald Trump’s announcement of trade wars with other countries, it seems that Baba Venga had estimated the correct estimate.

Ever since Trump has announced a tariff, there has been uproar in the markets. There has been a huge decline in stock markets around the world amid the possibility of global recession.

Trump had said liberation day

US President Donald Trump announced the tariff on 5 April. He called it a historic step and called it ‘Mukti Day’. During this, he imposed 34 percent tariffs on China and 20 percent on the European Union. Apart from this, 25 percent tariff was imposed on the goods coming from Mexico and Canada, which do not follow the rules of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement.

Trade war started between China and America

After Trump’s move, China and the European Union also started imposing counter -tariffs. Beijing announced that it would impose 34 percent tariffs on American goods. This made Trump angry and threatened China that if these counter tariffs are not withdrawn, he would impose an additional 50 percent tariff. China refused to bow down after which the US imposed 50 percent more tariffs, causing the total tariff to 104 percent.

China’s Finance Ministry announced that it would impose 84 percent tariffs on all American goods from Thursday. Apart from this, China put 12 American companies in the export control list and 6 American companies in the ‘incredible institution’ list. Now Trump has banned all countries who want to interact on trade agreement with other countries except China from imposing a counter -tariff for 90 days. Instead, he increased the tariff against China to 125 percent, which immediately came into force.

Baba Venga predicted Myanmar earthquake!

Although there is no official record of Baba Venga’s predictions, many people believe them. It is said that he predicted incidents like 9/11 and Princess Diana’s death. For this year, he predicted a devastating earthquake. On March 28, a major 7.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in Myanmar, killing more than 2,700 people. Their other predictions for 2025 include war and economic disaster in Europe, so their second prediction of this year is slowly moving towards coming true.

Another emphasis of about 1.9 trillion dollars has created a stir in the global industry to increase its production from China. America is now taking steps to protect its industries. US President Donald Trump on Wednesday put a 125 percent tariff on all the goods imported from China, calling it an necessary step to protect American manufacturers from the flood of cheap goods from China.

While Trump increased the tariff on China by 104 percent to 125 percent, the other countries of the world gave a big relief by putting a break of 90 days on the tariff. President Trump said that for 90 days, only 10 percent tariff will be imposed against those countries which started negotiations fairly. But China was not given this discount.

China’s tariff shock

For the last nearly four years, China used its domestic industry such as real estate and about $ 2 trillion funds of housing in its industries. As a result, there was an unexpected factories flood. After getting help from the country’s public sector banks, China’s manufacturers are rapidly increasing their scope and are preparing with modernity according to the global market from electric cars to fertilizers.

Former President who is in Biden’s government, US Trade Representative Catherine Tai said, “There is a tsunami for all.” According to the data of the central bank of China, the industries have been given an additional financial assistance of about $ 2 trillion, China is not facing the economic recession. China’s leading electric -maker manufacturer BYD is currently going to build two car factory.

Big impact will be going

In the year 2023, China’s exports rose 13% and a year later in 2024 it was increased by 17 percent. Exporters make 20 percent of the total GDP of China’s GDP from this.

In contrast, the share of exports in the US GDP fell and it has reached around 11 percent. This is less than 13.6 percent of 2012. America’s exports to China fell nearly 3 per cent to only 144 billion dollars. China’s exports in the US have increased to $ 440 billion, that is, the trade deficit with China has increased to $ 295 billion.

Other countries are not sitting calm against China. The European Union has imposed 45.3 percent tariff on electric vehicle. Brazil has increased the customs duty on China’s metal and fiber optic cable. Mexico and Thailand are also considering a similar step.

Trump Tariff: US President Donald Trump has praised Chinese President Xi Jinping among Tariff War and called him ‘very smart man’. Trump has increased the tariff on China to 125 percent by giving relief to all countries of the world for 90 days. Earlier, China also retaliated and announced to impose 84 percent tariffs on American imports.

Trump ready for talks with China

Seeing the increasing tension over tariffs between the two countries, Trump has said that he is ready to interact with Xi Jinping. Talking to reporters at the White House on Wednesday, Trump praised Jinping. He told that there is still scope for talks between the two countries. It is worth noting that ever since Trump took over his second term as President, he has not spoken with the Chinese President. This is the first time in the last 20 years when no President has spoken with his Chinese counterpart.

Trump said- pressure will remain on China

During this conversation, Trump called Xi Jinping one of the world’s most intelligent people. He said, “He (Jinping) is a man who knows what to do. He loves his country. ”Trump also believed that America is not benefiting from China at the moment. He also said that he would think about talking to Xi Jinping. He hoped not to increase more tariffs on China, but also talked about maintaining pressure on the dragon. Repeating his point during this time, Trump said that the US has been behaving badly for the last several years and the administration of the previous Biden allowed this to happen.

Us tariff: US President Donald Trump announced a tariff on many countries of the world including India on 2 April. Since then, the situation of trade war has remained. Today again the US has decided to impose 104 percent tariffs on China’s electronic goods. After this decision, trade war has started between the two largest economy countries in the world.

Meanwhile, American trade representative Jamison Greer has given a big statement. He has claimed that countries like India, Argentina, Vietnam and Israel are planning to reduce the tariffs to be imposed on their behalf. His statement was given to the Finance Committee of the US Senate, in which he justified the trade policies of President Donald Trump.

According to Jamison Greer, these countries have expressed their desire to reduce the tariff by contacting the US administration. This means that if America reduces tariffs, then they will also follow this policy. Greer compared 5% tariffs imposed on agriculture on agriculture by the US to the average 39% agricultural tariff, saying that it shows how non-physical trade policies make a deficit deal for the US.

India’s changing trend over tariff
According to Greece, many countries including India are now working towards reducing the tariff by taking the policy of Tarmp’s tariff policy seriously. He said that about 50 countries have approached the members of the Trump administration. He has shown interest in getting business relations better with America. India is an important name in this list as it is a major business partner of America. Changes in such tariff policies will have a widespread impact on bilateral relations of the two countries.
Greece gave information through data
Through the data, Greece said that since 1994, the US has lost 5 million jobs and 90,000 factories. The agricultural sector, which was once an important part of the business, has now gone into losses. Such a situation has been seen especially during the last two years of Biden administration. All these changes are the result of unilateral tariffs, trade obstacles and foreign competitive policies, causing heavy damage to the US.

This is not only a business strategy but also a national security strategy
The Greece described the policy of Trump administration as not just a trade strategy but also a national security strategy. He said that many countries of the world are trying to improve their trade policies due to tariffs imposed by America. They are knowing that America will no longer remain inactive. We are demanding mutuality and fairness in business. Jamison Greer said that Donald Trump’s aggressive trade policies are now showing impact on global level.

Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said on Tuesday, April 8, that it has received information that the US has threatened to impose 50% additional fees on China. The Ministry strongly opposed this threat, saying, “If the US increases the fee, China will firmly retaliate to protect its rights and interests.”

China said that America’s plan to impose ‘reciperook tariff’ is an attempt to create baseless and unilateral pressure. The Ministry also clarified that whatever steps taken by China are completely legal and justified and its purpose is to protect the interests of its country’s sovereignty, security and development.

 America’s blackmail policy & nbsp;

Ministry spokesperson said, "The US threatening to increase the fee is based on a major wrong step and it again reveals the US policy of blackmail. China will never accept it. If America is adamant on its stubbornness, then China will fight till the last. ‘

China also reiterated that no one is going to win in the trade war and there is no solution to protectionism. China appealed to the US to immediately improve its wrong policies, remove all unilateral fees and stop pressing China’s economy and trade. China also said that both countries should resolve their differences through equal dialogue on the basis of mutual respect. & Nbsp;

 what is the case & nbsp;

US President Donald Trump posted on social media, saying that China has imposed an additional 34 percent fee on the high fee already imposed. Trump accused China of unfair trade practices, such as illegal subsidy and currency manipulation. He warned that if a country imposes new fees on America, it will answer with more high tariffs than before.

China-as tariff war: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (2 April 2025) announced a tariff on 57 countries of the world. However, later Trump has also changed the rate of tariff, giving relief to some countries. Meanwhile, China on Friday (4 April 2025) retaliated on the US and decided to impose an additional fee of 34 per cent on all the products imported from there. This has been done in response to US President Donald Trump’s decision to impose a 34 per cent fee on exports from China.

China’s action on 16 US companies

According to the report of news agency Xinhua, these fees will be levied on American goods from April 10. After the US imposed counter -duty on business partners, China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO). China has also decided to ban the export of double -use items to 16 American companies.

China opposed American

The Chinese Commerce Ministry spokesman said on Thursday (3 April 2025) that China firmly opposed the American tariff and will retaliate and protect its interests. Donald Trump has imposed a strict tariff of 34 percent on his big business partner China. The American tariff may shock the Chinese economy as it is already struggling with problems like debt crisis and decreasing consumption in the real estate sector.

No increase in tariffs- China

On behalf of China, it said, “America claims that it has suffered a loss in international trade, so with the excuse of alleged equality, all businessmen will be imposed a mutual tariff. The US concluded the recipe -rifle tariff based on its unilateral evaluation, which is not in line with international business rules. Increase in tariffs will not solve America’s question. It will not solve America’s question. Damage to the stability of the chain. “

Trump on Wednesday announced imposing a 34 per cent duty on import of Chinese goods, which was introduced as part of the Comprehensive Liberation Day package with the objective of giving a new look to the US trade policy. After this decision, the total fee on China’s goods on entry into America increased to 54 percent.
