China Fujian Aircraft Carrier: China has demonstrated its power in the sea in such a way that the world is surprised to see it. China’s state-of-the-art aircraft carrier Fujian, which was recently commissioned, has successfully tested its electromagnetic catapult technology. It is being claimed that this technology is far ahead of the old steam catapult system.

A shocking scene was seen in the video released on China’s state TV China Central Television (CCTV). During testing, Fujian’s electromagnetic system brought a heavy 30-ton fighter plane traveling at a speed of 170 mph to a complete stop in just 0.2 seconds. This is being described as a major engineering achievement. This is being considered a big leap for safe landing and takeoff of planes during wartime.

Better technology than Steam Catapult

According to Fujian crew member Bao Yu, the biggest feature of this system is its ability to deliver power at high speed. It gives the aircraft enough speed to fly in a short distance and can also stop at the same speed if needed. Despite being heavy machines, it is also less noisy than a steam catapult.

Prepare to attack without stopping

Chinese military expert Song Zhongping says that with this system the rate of flying of planes from aircraft carriers will increase manifold. This means that during war, Fujian will be able to attack continuously and rapidly.

Practice with J 35 and J 15T

Fujian practiced takeoff and landing with J 35 stealth fighter, heavy J 15T, electronic warfare aircraft J 15DT and KJ 600 early warning aircraft in its first maritime mission after officially entering service on 5 November. It has become clear from this exercise that China is progressing rapidly in maritime technology and has taken steps towards matching America.
