Fans are eagerly waiting for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming war film ‘Battle of Galwan’. Fans have been excited about the film since the first look of the film was revealed. Meanwhile, a big update has come out on the release date of ‘Battle of Galwan’. This film of Salman Khan is going to hit the theaters next year.

The makers were initially thinking of releasing ‘Battle of Galwan’ in January next year. However, the work of the film has not been completed yet, so this is not possible. Now preparations are being made to release this war film of Salman Khan in theaters in June 2026.

Shooting of the film will be completed in December
Bollywood Hungama has written about ‘Battle of Galwan’ quoting sources – ‘The shooting started in Ladakh in September and a major part of the film has been shot. The team has already shot some important challenging and action sequences. The shooting will be completed in December, after which director Apoorva Lakhia will completely focus on post-production.

Teaser may come on Salman Khan’s birthday
Regarding the release of ‘Battle of Galwan’, it is written in the report – ‘Release in January will no longer be possible. But a release in June is being seriously considered, although the team is also seeing whether there is a good release date in the months of July and August next year. 27th December is Salman Khan’s birthday and if reports are to be believed, the first teaser of ‘Battle of Galwan’ can be released on this occasion.

The film ‘Battle of Galwan’, being made under the direction of Apoorva Lakhia, is based on a chapter of Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book ‘India’s Most Fearless 3’ (2022). In this film, Salman Khan will be seen in the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu. Chitrangada Singh will be seen with him as the lead actress. Salma Khan is producing ‘Battle of Galwan’ under the banner of her production house (SKF Productions). There are also reports of Amitabh Bachchan having a cameo in the film.
