Bollywood’s superstar Ranveer Singh is in controversies these days. Recently, after walking out of the film ‘Don 3’, actor and producer Farhan Akhtar contacted FWICE, after which a non-cooperation order was issued against Ranveer. However, after this a debate has erupted in the industry and many people have accused it of bias. However, this is not the first time that FWICE has taken action against an artist. Meanwhile, Chunky Pandey, remembering his career days, told an incident related to it.

Chunky Pandey narrated the story

In a conversation with E Times, Chunky told that when the shooting of his film ‘Aag Hi Aag’ was going on in 1987, the industry was on strike and shooting was not allowed. But producer Pahlaj Nihalani was shooting in Bengaluru, then shooting took place in Ooty. For this reason action was taken against many people.

Banned for a week

He further told about this, ‘There were big stars like Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha in the film, but he was such a big superstar and was working in 30-40 films simultaneously that it was not easy to ban him. I was new at that time, my first film had not even been released, so I was banned for a week. However, I later apologized and the ban was lifted within a week. Our industry is very small and delicate and I myself have faced all this.

Ranveer Singh’s team issued a statement

Let us tell you that after Farhan Akhtar talked to FWICE, he held a press conference and issued a non-cooperation order against Ranveer Singh and refused to work with him. However, after this Ranveer Singh also issued a statement saying that he respects the film industry and the people associated with the Don franchise a lot. Whatever things have come to light regarding the film, Ranveer thought it better to remain silent because he believes that professional and personal matters should be handled with respect and understanding.

David Dhawan is in the news these days for his last film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The trailer of the film was launched yesterday i.e. on 23rd May, in which the entire team of the film was seen together. Also, to make David Dhawan’s retirement special on this day, ‘David Dhawan Film Festival’ was also celebrated, in which glimpses of the wonderful films of his career were also shown. Meanwhile, he got a chance to watch his blockbuster film ‘Aankhen’ again, after which Chunky Pandey looked very excited.

The premiere didn’t even happen…

While talking to Instant Bollywood, when Chunky Pandey was asked that there is a lot of excitement about ‘Aankhen’. Then Chunky replied that ‘When we made Aankhen, the premiere had not even taken place. That’s why today it feels like the premiere of Aankhen has taken place.

After this, when he was told that you and Govinda had done wonders with David ji in the film, then Chunky immediately says that ‘David has a specialty, when he shoots, he conquers every character. He becomes a hero himself, plays the role of a comic. Sometimes he gets so excited that he even comes in front of the camera. But I love David very much and I am very excited.

‘Aankhen’ was a blockbuster

Let us tell you that the film ‘Aankhen’ was released in 1993, which was directed by David Dhawan. Chunky Pandey and Govinda were seen in lead roles in the film. At that time this film proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. This was a comedy action film, whose songs were also well liked. Talking about ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, this film is releasing on 5th June. Artists like Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, Rakesh Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Manish Paul and Mouni Roy are going to be seen in this film.
