The government has taken cognizance of the complaint by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) about police action against the protesters. According to sources, information is being taken by the government about the states where action is being taken against the protesters. It has also been said that no action will be taken against peaceful protesters.

CJP has alleged that action is being taken against many protesters. CJP gave an ultimatum to the government that if the action against the protesters was not stopped then they would have to think about protesting again.

What did CJP spokesperson say?

In a post addressed to Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, cockroach Janata Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka accused the government of violating the agreement ending the NEET movement, citing the detention of students in Bihar and West Bengal and police raids in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Government accused of violating the agreement

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said, the agreement of not taking police action against the protesters is being completely violated. Hundreds of students have been arrested in Bihar and Bengal and hundreds of students in Delhi and other states are being monitored and harassed. Many reports are coming out regarding the detention of volunteers who were helping the protesters in Delhi.

CJP demanded immediate withdrawal of the FIR, release of the detained youth and providing a copy of the written agreement regarding legal protection by Tuesday and warned of nationwide protests if this was not done.

Demand to withdraw FIR against protesters

Ranka said, ‘We demand that all FIRs against the protesters be immediately withdrawn, the students should be released and no FIR should be filed in future by Delhi Police/central investigating agencies/police of BJP-supporting states as per our agreement. If this does not happen, we will be forced to stage a protest again. We also demand that the written agreement related to legal matters be shared with us by tomorrow and the stipulated timeline with the Government of India be adhered to.
