This car has been imported to India, yet its starting price has been kept at around Rs 55 lakh. Two battery options are available in Mercedes CLA Electric. The first is CLA 200, which has a 58kWh battery. It can run for approximately 542 kilometers on a single charge. The electric motor installed at the rear gives 224 horsepower and 335Nm torque, which makes its performance quite good.

Vehicle performance and range

The second variant is CLA 250+ Long Range, which has a larger 85kWh battery pack. It claims to give a range of up to 792 kilometers on a single charge, which is considered quite excellent at this price. It has a more powerful motor, which generates 272 horsepower and 335Nm torque. Apart from this, it has been provided with 800V electrical system, due to which this car can be charged very fast.

Talking about the features, Mercedes-Benz CLA has a lot of advanced technology. It has many premium features like Google built-in system, AI features, large 14-inch touchscreen, Burmester sound system, glass roof, 360 degree camera, park assist, heated and massage seats and dual-zone climate control. The special thing is that its ground clearance has been increased keeping in mind the Indian roads.

For whom is it right to buy a car?

Now let’s talk about whether this car is worth buying? So the answer depends on your need. If you want a stylish, luxury and technology-rich electric car, then this can be a good option. Its quality, look and range are quite attractive considering its price. This car is suitable for those who like to drive themselves, as the space in its rear seat is a little less.

If you want more space and a vehicle for family use, then some electric SUVs coming in this price range may be more practical. But if you want style, performance and premium feel, then Mercedes-Benz CLA can prove to be a great option.
