PSEB 10th result 2026: The wait of lakhs of class 10 students of Punjab School Education Board is over. The board has released the class 10th result today i.e. on 11th May. Students who appeared in the examination can check their score card online by visiting the official website. After the release of the result, now students can check subject wise marks, passing status and other important information with the help of roll number. This year, more than 2.8 lakh students took part in the 10th examination of Punjab Board. According to the information given by the board, there is a possibility of more traffic on the website as soon as the results are declared, hence students have been advised to be patient.

Result released in press conference

Chairman of Punjab School Education Board, Dr. Amarpal Singh has released the 10th result through a press conference today on May 11. After the release of the result, now students can check their result by visiting the board’s website. With the release of the results, the board has also released the overall pass percentage, toppers list and other important figures. At the same time, the results of Punjab Board have been better in the last few years.

How was the Punjab Board 10th board result?

This time the total passing percentage in Punjab Board 10th examination has been 94.52 percent. This passing percentage is said to be 1 percent less than last year. Last year the passing percentage of 10th Punjab Board was 95.61 percent. This time girls have won in Punjab Board. The overall passing percentage of girls was 95.96 percent while the passing percentage of boys was 93.23 percent. Girls have won in Punjab Board 10th. This time Harleen Sharma has topped the boards by securing 99.38 percent marks. At the second position, Riya Rani secured 99.23 percent marks. Mahesh Sharma stood third in Punjab Board 10th with 99.23 percent.

Students from rural areas won

This time in the Punjab Board 10th examination, the performance of students from rural areas has been better than that from urban areas. The total passing percentage of students from rural areas was 95.35 percent, while the passing percentage from urban areas was 92.98 percent. The passing percentage of government schools was 94.45 percent, while the passing percentage of private schools was 95.97 percent.

Digital marksheet will also be available on DigiLocker

Students can download their digital marksheet through DigiLocker. For this, students will have to login to DigiLocker app or website. After this, you will have to select Punjab School Education Board on the education section. There the digital marksheet can be downloaded by clicking on the class 10th marksheet link and entering the roll number. The board has made it clear that the marksheet issued online will be provisional. The original marksheet will be given to the students later through the schools.

How many marks are required to pass?

To pass the Punjab Board examination, students will be required to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject. Separate passing rules are also applicable in some subjects. If a student is not successful in one or two subjects then he will be given a chance to appear for compartment examination. At the same time, many students feel stressed and worried during the results. Keeping this in view, Punjab Board has also started a helpline facility for students.
