In Islam, Doomsday is called the last day or final judgment. It is mentioned in the Quran and Hadiths, but its exact date or time has not been told to anyone. It is believed that it will come suddenly and the entire world order will end. Sun, moon, earth – everything will change. There will be an account of the deeds of human beings and on the basis of that the decision about heaven or hell will be made.

It is definitely said in some Hadiths that the last hour will come on Friday, but this is not a fixed time. Overall, in Islamic belief, Doomsday is the final and only event, after which the present form of the world will end.

What is the concept of equality in Hinduism?

There is no word like doomsday in Hindu religion, but the concept of ‘pralaya’ and ‘mahapralaya’ is definitely found. According to Sanatan tradition, creation continues in a cycle – creation, maintenance and destruction. When unrighteousness increases and religion weakens, then change comes.

According to Hindu belief, there are four eras – Satyayuga, Tretayuga, Dwapara and Kaliyuga. Kaliyuga is going on right now. It is believed that at the end of Kaliyuga, the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu ‘Kalki’ will appear. He will destroy unrighteousness and religion will be re-established. After this a new era will begin. This is not considered a period of complete destruction, but a period of change.

There is also mention of ‘Mahapralaya’ in the Puranas and other texts. This happens when an entire ‘Kalpa’ ends. Kalpa is considered equal to one day of Brahma, whose duration is said to be very long. In the great cataclysm, the entire creation comes to an end, but then creation also takes place again. That is, the idea of ​​a new beginning after the end is associated with Hindu philosophy.

One thing common in both religions is that when injustice and sins increase, the time of end or change comes. In both the beliefs, the importance of good and bad deeds has been explained. The difference is that in Islam the Doomsday is a final and decisive day, whereas in Hinduism the Doomsday is part of a cycle, after which a new creation takes place.
