He has said that if no response is received to the notice, it will be demolished with bulldozers on July 7.

Teams formed on the instructions of CM Yogi

Prathamesh Kumar said that on the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, seven zone-wise teams have been formed which will investigate all the illegal buildings running illegally in the district and wherever any shortcomings or deficiencies are found in them, action will be taken against them.

19 LDA employees under investigation

LDA Vice President said that prima facie, 19 employees are under investigation in this entire incident. Out of them, three have retired, while 16 employees are still working. All of them have been kept under investigation, if found guilty, action will be taken against them.

He told that in the year 2014, the map of this building was passed for residential but commercial work was started on it, after which in the year 2016, LDA had issued an order for its demolition, but when the owner of the building applied that he will get residential construction done here, then within two months the demolition order was withdrawn.

Action against the officer who withdrew the order

If the order to demolish this building was withdrawn, its authenticity should have been properly investigated and action should have been taken after inspection, but this was not done. We have conducted an internal investigation into this matter, and the officers responsible have been identified. Action has been taken against the officer who was guilty in this.

Apart from this, on Tuesday, June 23, LDA has pasted a notice on the building where this accident took place, considering it illegal. 15 days have been given to reply to this. If the reply comes within the given time, then the reply will be tested and in case it is not received, it will be demolished with a bulldozer on July 7.
