In this recruitment issued by Coal India, posts have been earmarked for different branches. Candidates in this recruitment will be selected only through Computer Based Examination (CBT). There will be two papers in the examination, the first will be based on General Knowledge, Reasoning, English and Numerical Ability, while the second paper will have questions related to the concerned subject (discipline). Both the papers will be conducted on the same day in 3 hours and there will be no negative marking.

Candidates selected in this recruitment will get a salary of Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,80,000 under E-1 grade. The initial basic pay will be Rs 60,000 per month. Apart from this, DA, HRA, medical facilities, pension, gratuity and many other allowances will also be given.
