Why coconut water caused such a problem

According to the information given in the case report of Emerging Infections Disease Journal, the patient drank coconut water from straw 4.5 hours before reaching the hospital. The taste of that water was bad, so only a small amount of talked about it to his wife, when the coconut was opened, it turned out to be completely rotten from inside.

The report stated that the coconut was molested and became a place to put straw easily. It is advisable to keep such coconut in the fridge at 4-5 degrees Celsius, but that person kept it in the open for about a month after taking coconut.
