The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the dates of CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final examinations for the year 2026. This update is very important for those students who are preparing to appear in the CA exam this year. According to the new schedule, CA Foundation, Intermediate examinations will be held in September 2026, while the final examination will be conducted in November 2026. Along with this, information about the dates for filling the application form and correction window has also been released, so that the candidates can complete their process on time.

When will the exam be held?

CA Foundation exam will start from the first week of September. The first paper will be held on 2nd September, followed by the second paper on 5th September. The third paper will be held on September 7 and the final paper on September 9. The exam timings for the first two papers will be from 2 pm to 5 pm, while the remaining two papers will be from 2 pm to 4 pm.

CA Intermediate Exam 2026 Schedule

The examination will be conducted in two groups.

• Group 1- Papers of 1st September, 3rd September and 6th September.
• Group 2 – Papers of 8th September, 10th September and 12th September.
• The timing of all papers will be from 2 pm to 5 pm.

  When will CA final exam be held?

• Group 1 papers will be held on 2nd November, 4th November and 6th November.
• Group 2 – Papers will be held on November 9, November 11 and November 13.
• The timing of the paper will be from 2 pm to 5 pm, while the final paper will be from 2 pm to 6 pm.

When will the applications start?

The online application process for CA exam 2026 will start from July 6. The last date for applying without late fees has been fixed as July 19. At the same time, candidates can submit the form with late fees till 22 July 2026. Apart from this, the correction window will be open from July 23 to July 25, in which students can make changes in their examination center or medium.

If you have passed 12th Arts or Commerce and have always dreamed of becoming a pilot, then there may be good news for you. Preparations are underway to change the rules of pilot license in India. DGCA has made a new proposal, in which it has been said that the requirement of Physics and Maths in 12th will be abolished. If it is approved, then non-science students will also be able to take training as commercial pilots.

Till now, to get a commercial pilot license in India, it was necessary to study Physics and Maths in 12th. That means only students of science stream could directly go into this field. Arts and Commerce students earlier had to pass Physics-Maths in open school or separately.

What can change now?

According to the proposal of DGCA, some rules related to pilot license can be changed. According to the draft, for student pilot license, it will be necessary for the candidate to have passed 10th from a recognized board. Whereas for Private Pilot License (PPL) it will be mandatory to pass 12th.

The biggest change is regarding Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Now passing 12th will be considered sufficient for these licenses and the stream can be any. That means Arts, Commerce or Science. If this rule is implemented, then Arts and Commerce students will also be able to fulfill their dream of flying commercial flights.

This change is being made to give opportunities to more students in the aviation sector. This step is also related to the thinking of the National Education Policy. The objective of this policy is to make studies flexible, so that students can choose career as per their interest and not be limited only on the basis of stream.

Will there be no need for Physics-Maths?

The rules may change, but subjects like Physics, Maths, Meteorology, Navigation remain included in the pilot’s education. Flying an aircraft is not just a matter of pressing buttons, technical understanding is very important in it. Therefore, it is possible that training institutes may start separate basic foundation classes for Arts and Commerce students. This may make the training a little longer and more expensive.

The most important thing in the aviation industry is safety. The pilot has to take quick and correct decisions in every situation. Therefore, DGCA will ensure that no matter which stream the student belongs to, the level of training and testing remains the same.
