The state government has announced awards for the students who proved their mettle in the UP Board 10th examination. As a mark of respect, a cash amount of Rs 1 lakh will be given to the students who top at the state level. These students will be honored with an official citation from the government for their special achievement. The government will also reward students who top in their districts. Toppers of every district of UP Board will be given a cash amount of Rs 21 thousand as incentive.

Immediately after the successful completion of the examinations between 18th February to 12th March, the evaluation of copies was completed in record time between 18th March to 4th April. 1. Rechecking option – If you feel that your marks are less than expected or there is a mistake in copy checking, then you can apply for rechecking or re-evaluation. In this process your answer sheet is re-checked. Application starts a few days after the results are declared. Separate fees have to be paid for each subject. The result may change, increase or remain the same. This option is good for those students who are not confident in their marks.

2. Opportunity for compartment exam – If a student fails in one or two subjects, there is no need to waste the entire year. The board conducts compartment examination for such students. In this you give the exam only for the failed subjects. The exam is usually held in July and if you pass, your year is saved. This is considered the easiest option.

3. Option for failure in 3 or more subjects – If a student fails in three or more subjects, he cannot appear for the compartment exam. In such a situation, you will have to give the entire examination again next year or you can prepare again as a private student.
