BPSC Result: BPAC preliminary exam result released; Know how many students were successful

Bihar Public Service Commission has released the result of 71st preliminary examination. This time a total of 14,261 candidates have passed the examination, out of which 13,368 candidates have been successful for General Administrative Services, while 893 candidates have qualified for the post of Financial Administrative Officer.

About 4.71 lakh candidates had applied for this examination. Out of these, about 3.57 lakh candidates downloaded the admit card and 3.16 lakh candidates appeared in the examination. The examination was conducted at 912 examination centers in Bihar. According to the attendance, about 64.3% candidates appeared in the examination.

To check the result, candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of BPSC, bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

This time the cutoff has also been released. The cutoff for General category is 88 marks, EWS is 82.33 marks, Backward Class is 84 marks, Extremely Backward Class is 81 marks, Scheduled Caste is 72 marks, and Scheduled Tribe cutoff is 71.33 marks. The number of candidates who have scored more than 100 marks in this examination is said to be 211..

After the release of the result, now the recruitment process for 1298 posts will proceed. The next phase will be the main examination, for which BPSC will announce the date soon.

The main examination will be conducted in three subjects.

General Hindi (100 marks) – This will be a qualifying paper and its marks will not be added to the merit. Candidates will be required to score at least 30 marks to pass.
General Studies 1 (300 marks)
General Studies 2 (300 marks)
Optional Subject (300 Marks)

All the papers will be long answer type and the duration of each exam is fixed for 3 hours. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam should now start preparing for the main exam as the competition is going to be very tough.

The release of this result of BPSC has brought relief to lakhs of candidates and now everyone’s eyes are fixed on the announcement of the main examination.

UGC Net June 2025 NTA Extends Application Deadline Issue Revised Schedule Know full details here annn

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of online application for UGC NET June 2025. Now candidates can fill the application form on 12 May 2025 till 11:59 pm. This decision has been taken in view of the demand of the students.

This is the new application schedule

The last date for depositing the fees is now on 13 May 2025 till 11:59 pm. After this, improvement in application form can be done from 14 to 15 May 2025. Candidates can complete all processes through ugcnet.nta.ac.in website.

Click on the registration link to create login credentials.

Fill personal information, educational and contact information.

Upload documents like photo and signature.

Pay the fees online.

Which candidates should apply?

The UGC NET exam is conducted for three stages.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor Posts

Only Assistant Professor’s post and Ph.D. Can apply for entrance examination or only for PhD admission.

This examination determines eligibility for teaching and research in higher education institutions in India.

Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission UKSSSC has given a big opportunity for recruitment to various posts of Group-C Group C in the state. The Commission has issued an advertisement for recruitment to a total of 416 posts including Patwari, Lekhpal, Village Development Officer. Interested candidates will be able to apply online from 15 April to 15 May 2025.
