This gives a reward to the Crypto Minors to generate a new token. This report states that in the last six years, the number of complaints related to power cut and electricity has increased.

These activities are being monitored in Malaysia after catching more than 2,400 cases of illegal crypto mining last year. In some cases, property owners reported a lot of electricity bills for their rented space. After investigating these cases, the authorities caught illegal crypto mining. TNB has claimed that it is working closely with authorities to investigate and deal with the theft of electrocity related to crypto mining. Smart meters can be used for this, which will make it easier to keep the record for the use of electricity.

Under the Malaysia’s Electricity Supply Act, those who steal electricity may have to pay heavy penalty along with imprisonment for 10 years. However, measures are being taken to promote the Crypto segment in Malaysia and the crypto mining is not illegal there, but for this the minors have to register their functioning. Earlier in some countries like the US and Iran, there were difficulties in some regions due to increasing consumption of electricity due to crypto mining. These countries also made strict rules to deal with it.

In the last few years, the popularity of tools associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) has increased rapidly. India has become the second largest market for the number of users for the Chatgpt, which has a large stake in this segment. Openai, who operates Chatgpt, has reported that its number of users in the country has almost been almost tripled.

CEO of American company Openai, Sam Altman, says that India should join the leading countries of AI revolution. In a meeting with IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Altman praised the AI’s rapid increase in the country. “I think India should join the leading countries with AI revolution,” he said. Vaishnaw said in a post on social media platform X that he has had a great discussion with Altman on India’s strategy to make AI Stack – GPUS, model and apps. He told that Openai is ready to help all three.

Openai is also facing legal difficulties in India. Prior to India, Altman traveled to South Korea and Japan. Openai has also had a big deal with Japan’s SoftBank Group. The Finance Ministry has asked its employees to avoid these AI tools in view of the risk of government documents and data confidentiality. In a report by Reuters, this information was given by the internal advisory issued by the Finance Ministry. The advisory states, “Office computers and devices have a risk for documents and privacy of data from AI apps (eg chatgpt, Deepsek).” Countries like Australia and Italy have also imposed restrictions on the use of Deepsek due to risk for security of data.
