On March 1, hundreds of people from Shia community participated in the candle march in Jor Bagh area of the capital Delhi. The march started from Dargah Shah-e-Mardan and reached Karbala, Jor Bagh, where the death of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was mourned.

A large number of people including children, women and elderly people had gathered in this march. Everyone’s eyes were moist and deep anger was clearly visible on their faces. The people who arrived in March burnt the effigies of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and raised loud slogans against them.

While talking to ABP News, many people expressed their deep sorrow and anger. People said that the stove is not burning in our houses, we all Shias have become orphans. Every one of our children is crying, we have lost our leader. Will shoot Trump and Netanyahu, we want their death. Will destroy Israel and America. Just as their effigies have been burnt today, we will also burn them. Today is a dark day for us. Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi was the chief patron of this march organized by Anjuman-e-Hyderi, Jor Bagh.

Ladakh MP Haji Mohammad Hanifa Jaan had also reached this candle march, where while talking to ABP News, he said that the way the attack was carried out with deceit, it was better to accept the death of honor than to bow down before the oppressors. Terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has planned to hold a condolence meeting on Thursday (25 September) in memory of Yusuf Azhar, brother of his founder Masood Azhar. This meeting will be held in Markaj Shaheed Maksudabad of Peshawar and senior commanders and members of the organization will be involved in it. The organization can also use it as a recruitment campaign and will organize it under the name Al-Marabitun for not attracting attention, meaning ‘the protector of the land of Islam’ in Arabic. Along with this, there is a plan to build a memorial.

Yusaf Azhar was among the 10 family members who died in an air strikes on Jaish headquarters Jamia Mosque Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. On Operation Sindoor (April 22), there was a retaliation of India in the terror attack in Pahalgam.

According to a report by NDTV, Masood Azhar in his statement informed that those who died included her elder sister and her husband, a nephew and his wife, a niece and five children from the family. This incident was confirmed by a commander of Jaish in the video that surfaced this month.
