US Israel War: After almost five weeks of the ongoing war with Iran in the Middle East, America’s President Donald Trump is now receiving setbacks one after another. In the Iran-America war, allied countries like Britain, Italy, Spain have refused to cooperate and in this sequence, Qatar has now given another big blow to America. Qatar has refused to mediate in the ongoing conflict in West Asia.

What did Qatar’s Foreign Ministry say?

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has confirmed in an official statement that we are not involved in the efforts to mediate in Iran’s ongoing war with America and Israel. Our efforts are focused only on the defense and security of our country.

He said, ‘However, amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, we remain in constant contact with all parties. These include the countries conducting the mediation as well as many other regional parties. Here we should emphasize that everyone should fully support the efforts being made by Pakistan to establish peace. We hope that these efforts being made by Pakistan will yield positive results and permanent peace and stability will be established in the area.

Many NATO member countries refused to join the war

This statement from Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has come at a time when many countries including Britain, Italy, France, Spain have refused to participate in the ongoing war against Iran. Regarding this, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that this war is not ours. We did not start this and we will not get involved in it. Along with this, Britain has also refused to provide its army to attack Iran and to use its country’s airspace for American planes.

Former Minister of State for External Affairs of India M.J. He said, ‘Israel would never have imagined that Dimona would be attacked by an Iranian missile. By breaking their missile defense system, he attacked DIMONA, which is their Negev Nuclear Research Centre. He further said, ‘Iran was able to do this because it spends 4% of its GDP on Research and Development and it has 2,000 universities, which are their assets.’

Trump will not be able to put pressure on Gulf countries: Akbar

Former Union Minister of State M.J. Akbar said, ‘US President Donald Trump will not be able to put pressure on the Gulf countries to buy weapons, because neither their weapons are worth it nor did they enter this war with the Gulf countries.’

He said, ‘The crisis for the Gulf countries is that many of these countries had given their security architecture to America, which umbrella has now been broken and now a new security architect will be formed there, in which it has to be seen who all gets involved and what is the role of Israel and Iran.’

He further said, ‘Trump himself has said that he will complete this work next time. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu himself has said that more than half of the objectives have been achieved. However, a solution to the Strait of Hormuz problem will have to be found by all parties.

Akbar spoke on the role of India and Pakistan regarding mediation
