A tragic accident in south-eastern Democratic Republic of Congo shocked everyone. On November 15, a temporary wooden bridge at a cobalt mine in Lualaba province collapsed, causing a large number of wildcats working inside to fall down. This accident was so terrible that many bodies were not even visible inside the mine.

According to officials, 32 bodies have been recovered and the rescue team is continuously searching for more people. Due to rain, the mine was already submerged in water, hence it is becoming very difficult to rescue the miners trapped under the debris. Provincial Home Minister Roy Kaumba Mayonde said the death toll could rise further as many people were still unaccounted for.

Despite the ban, thousands of illegal miners had entered the mine

After heavy rains, the risk of landslides and floods had increased, so the administration had imposed a temporary ban on entry into the mine. Despite this, a large number of people entered the mine. Suddenly the crowd on the wooden bridge built over a ditch filled with water increased and due to not being able to withstand the pressure, the bridge broke from the middle. In the sudden accident, people started falling on each other and many people died. According to local officials, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot and a stampede-like situation was created.

Old conflict going on with China backed company

Government agency SAEMAPE said that this mine has long been the center of tension between illegal miners and the China-backed company working there. Illegal miners are often afraid of the presence of soldiers deployed around the mines and sometimes even protest. Even on the day of the accident, the restlessness among the miners had increased after seeing the soldiers nearby, due to which the crowd suddenly climbed the bridge together.

Pictures exposed the horrific situation

The horror of the incident was clearly visible in the video and photographs. Miners were seen pulling out bodies from the water-filled pit, while several dead bodies were seen lying on the ground nearby. The photographs also revealed that about ten thousand wildcat miners were working in the mine without any safety equipment.

Center of cobalt production, but the industry is surrounded by controversies

Congo is today the world’s largest cobalt producing country and approximately seventy percent of the global production comes from here alone. Cobalt plays an important role in batteries of electric vehicles, mobile phones and laptops, hence its global demand is high.

US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he resolved eight wars and saved the lives of crores of people. He also said that old disputes like India and Pakistan can be easily resolved through them. Trump said that he has calmed conflicts in Africa by mediating in the Congo-Rwanda dispute, India-Pakistan tension and many other matters. Trump also said that every time he resolves a conflict, he is talked about getting the Nobel Prize, but he never got this honor.

Trump again made a big claim

Trump said during an event, “I have solved eight wars. Go to Rwanda and Congo, talk about India and Pakistan. Look at all the wars we solved. Every time I solved a problem, people said if you solve the next one, you will get the Nobel Prize. I did not get the Nobel Prize. Someone else did. A very nice woman. I don’t know who she is but she was very generous. I don’t care about those things. My Cares only about saving lives. This will be the ninth. To my knowledge, none of our presidents has resolved even a single war. Not even one.

Trump further said, ‘Bush started a war… but I saved millions of lives. The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that I saved millions of lives… Look at Pakistan and India as examples. That could have turned out to be a bad situation… although I understand that Pakistan attacked, or there is an attack going on somewhere along Afghanistan. This would be easy for me to solve, if I had to solve it. Right now I have to run America but I like solving wars. Want to know why? “I love stopping people from being killed and I’ve saved millions and millions of lives.”

What did Trump say by taking the name of Pakistan Prime Minister?

Trump also reiterated in a public program that the Prime Minister of Pakistan had said that Trump had saved the lives of millions of people and he claimed that if he wanted, he could easily resolve the India-Pakistan dispute. Multiple news agencies have reported on the context of such claims and the scope of Trump’s accomplishments.

Many of Trump’s claims are based on exaggeration or half-truths. In many cases the peace or mediation they described were the result of temporary agreements, mediation efforts, or other international initiatives, rather than complete and permanent cessation of hostilities. AP also said in the report that Trump’s eight war claims are factually doubtful and misleading.

A major terrorist attack took place on Sunday (July 27, 2025) in the Republic of Congo, a country in Central Africa. The rebel group of the Islamic State (ISIS) is attacked by the Aloid Dramocratic Force (ADF) in a Catholic Church in Eastern Congo. At least 21 people have died in this attack. This information has been given by a leader of civil society.

According to the leader of the civil society, the ISIS -backed rebel group Aloid Dramocratic Force (ADF) carried out the attack in the premises of a Catholic Church in Komanda, Eastern Congo around 1 am on Sunday. Many local houses have also suffered damage in this terrorist attack. Many houses and shops were set on fire during the attack.

Associated Press, quoting Komanda’s Civil Society Co-ordinator Daudoni Durntabo, said in its report, “More than 21 people were shot dead inside and outside the church premises in this terror attack. We have recovered at least three burnt bodies and many houses have also been burnt. But investigation is still on.”

DRC Army confirmed the death of 10 people

According to the report of the Indian Express, however, a spokesperson of the Kangoli Army in Komanda, Republic of Congo, has confirmed the death of 10 people in this terrorist attack. DRC Army spokesman Lieutenant Jules Nagongo said, “According to the information we have received on Sunday (July 27, 2025), some armed men entered a Catholic church in Komanda with a machete (sharp knife). At least 10 people were brutally murdered and some local shops were set on fire.”

Diudon Dorathabo expressed surprise about the attack

At the same time, Komanda’s Civil Society Co-ordinator Dudon Dorantabo said, “We are really very disappointed because it is surprising how such an attack can happen in the city where all the big security officers are present. Now the situation is that some civilians have started running away from the area and are going towards Buuni.”

Murnthabo demanded, “We demand military intervention in this matter as soon as possible, as we were told that the enemy is still near our city.”

The Democratic Republic of Congo, the country of Africa, has once again been a victim of terrorism. Terrorists associated with the Islamic State (ISIS) have brutally murdered 66 people in the eastern part of the Congo. Local authorities have also confirmed the death of people in the terrorist attack.

Fighters of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) associated with terrorist organization ISIS have carried out the attack in the eastern Iramu area of the country bordering Uganda. Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) is an Islamic terrorist organization of Uganda, which has been associated with ISIS since 2019 and is active on either side of the open borders between Congo and Uganda.

What did the chairman of the local civil society say about the attack,

According to the Times of Israel, local civil society president Marsel Paluku said about the attack, “All the people have been murdered by killing Macheti (knife) in this terrorist attack and a large number of women and children are also included in the deaths.” He said, “It is not yet clear how many people have been taken hostage after the terrorist attack and how many people are missing.”

United Nations Mission spokesperson made a statement about the attack

At the same time, the United Nations (UN) Mission spokesman Jean Tobby Okala has also given a statement to the terrorist attack in this East Iramu area of Congo. Okala has called this terrorist attack a flood of blood.

Joint forces of Congo and Uganda took military action

According to the Times of Israel, the attack is believed to be in response to the recently launched bombing campaign by the joint forces of Congo and Uganda. Whereas, on Thursday and Friday (July 10-11, 2025), about 30 people were killed in the same area of Congo, which has now increased to 66.

Mp atul garg on all party delegation: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Atul Garg from Ghaziabad was involved in the all -party delegation who went to give information about Operation Sindoor abroad. During this time he traveled to four countries of the world, where he told everyone about the nefarious intentions of Pakistan. He said that the four countries condemned the Pahalgam terror attack, condemned Pakistan and assured to take up the matter in the United Nations (UN). Apart from this, BJP MP Atul Garg said on raising the question of Congress and MP Rahul Gandhi that he is a disturbed soul.

All four Muslim dominated countries condemned the Pahalgam terror attack

BJP MP Atul Garg said that seven delegations of all -party MPs had the responsibility of going abroad to open Pakistan. Out of which our delegation number was four. We got the responsibility of opening Pakistan’s pole in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Congo, Leon and Liberia.

He said, “During the journey, we met the Foreign Minister of all countries and met the Defense Minister. I met the President of a country. We met all senior leaders. All expressed condolences on the Pahalgam incident. Apart from this, all the members of the Parliament stood silently and then condemned the terrorist attack.”

He said, “All countries said that such an incident should not have happened.” He said, “The four countries we visited are all four Muslims. However, still everyone expressed his displeasure and assured to present India’s favor in the United Nations (UN).”

MP targeted Rahul Gandhi

During this, MP Atul Garg also targeted the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi. MP Atul Garg said, “Congress is upset that all parties put the favor of India abroad. The Congress feels that it will benefit Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So it is nervous.” At the same time, on raising the question of Rahul Gandhi, MP Atul Garg said that Rahul Gandhi is a disturbed soul. He has only ego and maliciousness in his mind. “

Operation Sindoor BSF: Due to the commendable work done by the country’s border-prisoners during Operation Sindoor, today the name of BSF is on the child’s tongue. This is believed by DG Daljit Singh Chaudhary of Border Security Force (BSF).

According to Daljit Chaudhary, both the women and men of BSF have got a distinct identity that the Border Security Force has got a distinct identity. On Monday (June 2, 2025), the DG, who became part of the UN Peacekipping Force, was addressing the BSF team while visiting the African country of Congo. The team consists of a total of 160 BSF guards, including 25 women.

With Army in Operation Sindoor BSF Mixed shoulder to shoulder

During Operation Sindoor, the BSF had destroyed the posts of terrorist camps and Pak Rangers in Pakistan, shoulder to shoulder of the Indian Army. During Operation Sindoor, BSF was responsible for destroying two big Terror Camps of Hizbul Mujahideen in Sialkot. Both these camps were included in the nine Terror Camp ruined on May 6-7 during Operation Sindoor.

BSF Cook posts and terrorists who infiltrated terrorists

Along with destroying the Terror Camps, the BSF had caused tremendous damage to more than 100 posts of Pak Rangers in its shelling. During Operation Sindoor, not only the ceasefire was being violated from these posts but also helping the terrorists to infiltrate. During this time, BSF piled seven terrorists in Samba sector during infiltration.

BSF bombs on Pakistani posts

The BSF also bombed the Pakistani posts along with the Army on the Line of Control (LOC). BSF companies were also deployed along with Army at the advance posts of LoC. Last month, when the ABP News team visited the LoC, he had a special meeting with the BSF artillery (artillery) soldiers and had a special conversation on joining Operation Sindoor.

Army Chief BSF Appreciated the works of

During the Operation Sindoor, the Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi himself praised for the commendable works of BSF. General Dwivedi has honored many BSF officers and jawans with a citation. At the same time, on the border adjacent to Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat, BSF also played an important role in failing Pakistan’s drone attack.
