India Pakistan Ceasefire: The ceasefire was announced between India and Pakistan on Saturday (May 10, 2025). Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s response has come to light on this agreement. Shashi Tharoor said that I am happy about this. He said that peace is most important. India was never in favor of a long war, but India wanted to teach terrorists a tough lesson and India has taught a lesson to all terrorists.

India announced ceasefire

After the Pahalgam terror attack, India retaliated in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. After the retaliation of the Indian armed forces, panic spread between the Pak Army and Pakistan. After this, Pakistan itself took initiative for ceasefire on Saturday (May 10, 2025). On which India also agreed on the ceasefire. However, India has signed a ceasefire agreement with the conditions of no military action from Pakistan.

Donald Trump claimed arbitration in ceasefire between Indo-Pak

US President Donald Trump made a post on his social media platform Truth Social by claiming that the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan has been concluded due to America’s mediation.

Donald Trump wrote in his post, “After a long night conversation in the United States mediation, I am happy to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to the complete and immediate ceasefire agreement. Congratulations to both countries.”

Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediati effect. Pakistan has always strived for Peace and Security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity!

At the same time, Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also shared a post on the social media platform X. In its post, the Pakistani Foreign Minister wrote, “Pakistan and India have agreed with the ceasefire with immediate effect.” He further wrote, “Pakistan has always tried for peace and security in the area without any agreement on its sovereignty and regional integrity.”
