Uttarakhand news: In an important meeting of Congress district heads in Delhi, Uttarakhand number came on Friday, where the suggestions made about the strength of the party from Nainital district also exposed the party’s internal tussle and organizational weaknesses to the high command. In the meeting, within two minutes received by Nainital District President Rahul Chimwal, he openly put forward the reality within the Congress and the neglect of the workers.

The suggestions from Nainital also pointed to the ‘sleeper cell’ active within the party. It was said that there are some elements within the party which are in front of the Congress, but are seen helping the opposition in behavior and strategy. On hearing this issue, representatives of many other districts also agreed, which made it clear that this problem is not limited to Nainital only.

In the meeting, it was clearly revealed that the biggest reason for the Congress’s defeat is its own internal tussle. The factionalism running at the district level, neglect of the workers and the decisions imposed from above are constantly weakening the party. The activists are frustrated and feeling distance from leadership. In such a situation, by the time elections come, the morale of the workers has fallen, and the party itself cuts its roots by giving tickets to the outer faces.

Emphasis on improvement
In the meeting, one thing became clear from the opinion of the district heads that if the Congress has to fight firmly in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, then it will have to improve its organizational structure first. The party can be strengthened again only by giving respect, rights and responsibility to the workers.

The district heads of many states participated in the Delhi meeting, but the picture presented by Nainital showed how many flaws are there at the ground level within the Congress and how mutual tussle turns victory into defeat. Now it is up to the high command how seriously he takes these suggestions and really takes the initiative to improve the party from within.
