After PM Modi’s election rally in Siliguri regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections, BJP claimed that they are going to form the government in Bengal on May 4. Congress leader Hussain Dalwai took a jibe at BJP’s claim and said that no matter how hard BJP tries, it will not form a BJP government in Bengal.

While talking to IANS in Mumbai, a Congress leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is blaming Trinamool Congress, but the people of Bengal are not going to be affected by this. The allegation is completely wrong.

He said that during elections, BJP keeps alleging anything. BJP has to bring its government in Bengal. The right to vote was taken away from the people through SIR. The Election Commission works on their instructions, but still BJP government will not be formed in Bengal.

Expressing deep condolence on the demise of famous singer Asha Bhosle, Dalwai said that Asha was a brand name in the entire country and the entire world. Hindi cinema flourished because of him. He sang thousands of songs and almost every song became a hit. Many generations to come will keep humming his songs.

He said that both Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle have made a huge contribution to the cinema sector of the country. His songs are sung all over the world, even where Hindi is not understood, people listen and sing his songs.

Dalwai said that this is very sad news. We express our condolences to his family and pray that his soul rests in peace.

Hussain Dalwai took a dig at the central government regarding the shortage of LPG gas. He said that the government is claiming that there is no shortage of gas in the entire country, but the reality is just the opposite.

Dalwai said that wherever you go, there are long lines. Gas is not available even within four days. People are forced to eat food in hotels. Go anywhere with a camera, lines will be visible. The government is lying. There are problems, but one should not lie.
