Now a similar case of negligence is coming to light from Greater Noida in Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Highly contaminated water is being supplied to houses in Delta-1 sector of Greater Noida.

Dirty sewer water is being mixed with the water supplied to houses in Delta-1 sector. A large number of people have fallen ill after drinking it. Residents allege that despite complaining continuously for three days, the responsible department did not pay any attention to this serious problem.

Earlier also people fell ill due to water

RWA Vice President said that for the last three days, sewer water is coming mixed with drinking water in the sector. Complaints were made several times to the authority in this regard, but no hearing took place. He also told that earlier too in such situations people had fallen ill and been admitted to the hospital.

Delta resident Vijay Singh said that for the last three days the supply water is coming completely yellow and dirty. Even in his house, children are suffering from the problem of vomiting and diarrhea. Rukmani Singh Bhati also talked about the foul smell of water and children falling ill. According to residents, due to this contaminated water many people have suffered problems like vomiting, diarrhea, headache and fever.

Authority found problem of dirty water in only 2 houses

At the same time, officials of the authority said that officials of the authority and the health department reached the spot. They investigated by digging pits at many places and also took water samples. Initial investigation found that sewer line water was not found in the drinking water line. This problem of dirty water had come up in one or two houses. Now at present water is coming properly to all the houses.
