Now the Varanasi police administration has indicated to take major action against the kingpin of this case, Shubham Jaiswal. Actually, assets worth about Rs 38 crore of Shubham Jaiswal and his family can be sealed on the directions of the court.

If information is not given, property will be sealed within a week.

According to the information given by Varanasi Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal, under the new provision, if any property has been acquired through criminal activities, then it can be confiscated only during the investigation. On this basis, SIT has identified the assets worth about Rs 38 crore of gangster Shubham Jaiswal and his family and presented the report in the court. While giving notice, the court has given him a week’s time to give correct information about all his business activities and if he is not able to give its authenticity, then his assets worth about Rs 38 crore will be sealed.

50 thousand reward on Shubham Jaiswal

According to the information received from the police administration, more than 50 arrests have been made in the Codeine cough syrup case. In this case, a reward of Rs 50,000 has been fixed for Shubham Jaiswal. Now after this notice of the court, there is a strong buzz that if correct information is not given by Shubham Jaiswal or his family in the coming week, then action will definitely be taken against his property.

Due to this, the risk of infection in patients has also increased.

The dean of the medical college said this

Let us tell you that Shahdol district is a tribal dominated area, patients from far away places come for treatment in Birsa Munda Medical College. However, patients are losing confidence in iodine solution. Dean of the Medical College, Dr. Girish B. Ramtek admitted that some patients have faced problems with this solution. Such patients are being shown to skin experts and their condition gets better in two-three days.

Patients expressed their pain like this

Dheeraj Sen, husband of pregnant Khushboo Sen, who came from Janakpur, Chhattisgarh, told that iodine solution was applied to his wife during delivery. After a few hours, Khushboo’s skin started getting irritated and blisters appeared on her back. Dheeraj said that my wife is in a lot of pain. The solution which was supposed to provide a cure has got us into more trouble. Family members of many other patients like Dheeraj have also made the same complaint.

Question on supply of solution

According to the information, this iodine solution was supplied from Samchem Company of Indore. The batch which was causing problems to the patients has now been removed. The medical college has arranged for a new solution, but the question is why this batch was not tested earlier? Despite the patients facing such serious problems, why did the management not take the matter seriously for two months?
