During the Kovid, not only Gujarat but many states were ahead in hiding the death toll. After Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh remained second in this case. The figure of 6927 deaths was introduced in Madhya Pradesh, while actually there were 1,26,774 deaths here. Similarly, 10,052 deaths were revealed in West Bengal, while 1,52,094 deaths were recorded here. In Bihar too, 10,699 deaths were claimed, but there were 1,35,391 deaths here. 14,563 deaths were claimed in Uttar Pradesh, but there were 1,03,108 deaths here.
