Caste census in bihar: A separate picture came out from the political corridor of Bihar on Friday (May 02, 2025). A joint press conference was organized by the NDA at the Circuit House in Vaishali, but no one arrived from Chirag Paswan’s party (LJP Ram Vilas). Neither an MP reached nor a district level leader reached. NDA leaders are not considering it a big issue but RJD has claimed that Chirag Paswan is going to separate.

Chirag’s picture was put in the banner of press conference

JDU national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad addressed this press conference held at the Circuit House in Vaishali. He referred to the decision of the Central Government related to the ethnic census. There was no concrete information about why no leader was involved with LJP Ram Vilas in this joint press conference. However, a picture of Chirag Paswan was definitely put on the banner of the press conference.

Chirag’s party separated from NDA and did PC

A separate PC was later performed in the circuit house on behalf of Chirag Paswan’s party. Mukesh Paswan, the state general secretary of LJP Ram Vilas, who held the press conference, told about the benefit of ethnic census. Said that Ram Vilas Paswan had also demanded this for a long time. Chirag Paswan also used to demand caste census where he used to hold gathering. Now approval has been received from the Modi cabinet. For this, he thanked PM Modi and Chirag Paswan.

What did NDA not say if they are not involved in PC?

Why did he separate from the NDA and do PC on the ethnic census? Mukesh Paswan did not give any concrete reason on this. Said, “We are holding a press conference on behalf of our party, but wish all the leaders of the coalition. It is a separate press conference from our party. A press conference has been held on the orders of the state president and district president.”

On this entire issue, JDU national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that today Chirag Paswan’s party is not here, then it may be that there will be somewhere in Muzaffarpur. Maybe today they will have some other issue. At the same time, senior JDU leader and Energy Minister of Bihar Government Vijendra Yadav said that everyone has a matter of their respective party. The decision has been taken by the NDA.

What did RJD say?

This entire episode has been tightened by RJD. RJD MLA Mukesh Roshan said that it is clear that Chirag Paswan is running on Ekla Chalo’s policy and is separating from the NDA alliance. They are engaged in the separation process. If the assembly elections are coming closer, then the Chief Minister’s candidates are becoming. Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi are showing their eyes, so they did not join the NDA PC.
