Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released the official notification of constable recruitment for the year 2026. Under this recruitment, qualified candidates will be appointed to a total of 9,195 posts. The special thing is that both male and female candidates can apply for this. This recruitment includes different trades and technical posts. In which a total of 9,195 posts have been divided into different categories. This includes 9,096 posts for male candidates, 79 posts for female candidates and 20 posts for Pioneer Wing. These posts include many types of trades like Driver, Cook, Carpenter, Tailor, Barber, Washerman, Safai Karamchari and other technical posts.

What is CRPF Constable Recruitment Qualification

To apply for CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026, the candidate must be an Indian citizen and must have passed at least 10th (Matriculation). For some technical or trade related posts, ITI certificate or related experience may also be sought. Whereas for the post of driver, the age of the candidate should be between 21 to 27 years, whereas for other posts it has been fixed at 18 to 23 years. At the same time, reserved category candidates will be given the benefit of age relaxation as per government rules.

Selection process of CRPF constable recruitment

Selection in CRPF constable recruitment will be done in several stages. In which there will be Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Computer Based Test (CBT), Trade/Skill Test, Documents Verification (DV) and Medical Examination. Apart from this, the final selection will be mainly based on the performance in CBT exam and successful passing of other stages.
