However, a new system of giving posting to CRPF jawans closer to home was started in the year 2014. At that time, CRPF had decided to keep the soldiers around their “home zones” so that they could stay close to their families and stress was reduced.

Need of employees in every state and city is also a big reason

Government departments work all over the country. In such a situation, employees are needed everywhere. If all the people are given posting near their homes, then employees will not be available in many remote areas. This is the reason why employees in railways, postal department, banks and government hospitals are sent to different states and districts. Many times the youth initially get worried about going away from home. It is not easy to live in a new language, new environment and distance from family. But with time this experience helps them in both their work and life. Many employees later take transfer and come closer to their state or city. The government also keeps working on rules like giving posting to husband and wife at the same station.

Some departments are giving relief in changing times

Now with time some departments have started understanding the problems of the employees. Many government organizations are trying not to send employees to long distances, especially women and employees with families. At the same time, in some departments, the facility of home state posting is also given in a limited form.

Despite this, the truth remains that serving the country is considered the biggest responsibility in a government job. Employees are sent wherever they are needed. This is the reason why a government job demands not only comfort but also responsibility and sacrifice.

That black day of the country was 14 February 2019 when the country lost 40 of its heroes. Today is the seventh anniversary of Pulwama terrorist attack. 40 brave CRPF soldiers were martyred in this painful attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Ashok Pandit paid tribute to the martyrs
On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of Pulwama terror attack, film producer and President of Film and Television Producers Association, Ashok Pandit has paid tribute to the martyrs by sharing an emotional post on his Instagram account. He wrote, ‘Today marks seven years since the Pulwama attack. It was a sad day in the history of India. We remember and salute the 40 CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in the terrorist attack of 2019.

How did the attack happen?
A Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber hit a vehicle laden with explosives on a CRPF convoy going from Jammu to Srinagar. 40 soldiers were martyred and many were injured in this attack. This incident shocked the entire country. After this, India took strong action like Balakot airstrike.

CRPF dismissed jawan: Munir Ahmed, a Jawan of CRPF, who hid the marriage of a Pakistani woman, has clarified these allegations. The sacked jawan said that in 2022 he had sought a permission to marry the department, but when he was delayed, he married Meenal through video conferencing in May, 2024. Talking to news agency ANI, Munir Ahmed also opened a big secret.

The sacked jawan told that he is married to his maternal sister and his marriage was decided in childhood. He said, ‘Meenal is my maternal uncle’s daughter. Before the India-Pakistan partition, my and his family lived in Jammu and Kashmir. At present, Meenal’s family lives in Sialkot, Pakistan. The relationship of both of us was decided in childhood.

Letter was written to the department for permission for marriage: Jawan

Munir Ahmed said, ‘I wrote a letter to the authorities on December 31, 2022 to allow marriage. On January 24, 2023, the authorities returned my letter with some objections and the wedding card, where will the marriage be, was asked for information. After this I sent a second letter, in which complete information about marriage was given. My letter Dig Jammu Range and CRPF went to Delhi and after about 5 months I got an answer, in which it was written that the applicant has informed the department.

Father cancer patient, Meenal’s family was not getting visa

The CRPF jawan told that my father is a cancer patient and on the other hand there was a delay in getting the letter of the department. Meenal was not even getting a visa. Because of this, we were married through video conferencing with the consent of both families. After about 9-10 months, Meenal got the desire of India visit. She came to India on 28 February 2025. I informed the department about this. The deputy commandant was also told. One has to apply for long term visas (LTV) within 15 days of getting a visit visa. We applied that. During this time our field verification for LTV was done. After this we were told that Meenal can live in India in LTV.

How to know about dismissal?

Regarding being dismissed from service, Munir Ahmed said that I came to know about my dismissal through media reports. I soon received a letter from CRPF, which gave information about my dismissal. This was a shock for me and my family as I had sought permission from the headquarters to marry Meenal Khan and informed even after marriage.

Munir said that he was on leave since his wife arrived in February. He said, “I came again on duty on 23 March. I told him everything. I gave him a copy of his visa and told about the long-term visa application. Then suddenly, I was transferred (Bhopal). I had to complete my posting in Jammu and Kashmir in 2027. Whenever you are transferred in another battalion, I got 15 days of joining time, I did not get a train ticket, I did not get a train ticket. 41 joined the battalion and I told them everything about my marriage.

‘Married in 2024 and told in 2022’

Munir said that he is shocked by being fired from his job. He said, “I want to appeal to the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) and the Home Minister (Amit Shah) that I should get justice as a jawan. I was married in 2024 and I have been informing the department since 2022. Tell me, where is there illegalism?”

Munir Ahmed also said, “That application was still under process when the incident (Pahalgam attack) took place. Yesterday, I was suddenly informed that I have been dismissed from service. I want to appeal to the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister, I want justice, I want justice, I am a young man. Why did this happen? I am giving all the information to my department.”
