There is a big update for those trading in commodities like Gold, Silver and Crude Oil. MCX has announced that from March 9, 2026, trading of non-agri commodities will run from 11:30–11:45 PM. This decision has been taken due to the change in US Daylight Saving Time. With this, investors will now be able to keep better pace with Global Markets like US and UK, especially according to Comex prices. Client code modification will also be possible till 11:45 PM. Whereas trading in agri commodities like cotton will remain till 9 PM. This change will have the biggest impact on gold, silver and crude oil traders, because their prices are directly linked to the global market.
